LBA for Nintendo DS?

Hi! Hello everyone from Spain again!
I have a question for you, LBA-maniacs... I have a Nintendo DS (lite) and a "M3" card. I can load emulators of old video consoles (Sega Master System, Game Boy...) and all types of homebrew.

I haven´t found any DOS emulator or any program able to load LBA (1 or 2) in Nintendo DS.
Do you know any program or application able to play LBA games in the Nintendo DS?

Thank you! And sorry for my poor lever of english again.

I don't think it's possible to load LBA 1 on a DS with comfortable controls.

Well, I've been thinking about reimplementing it for DS with adapted gameplay (using the Twin-Engine).
Here is a loader that displays the LBA bricks, it's very very simple, but anyway, I thought some of you might be interested.

There was an expirement DOSbox for the DS, but it never got nearly far enough to play a game like LBA, let alone full speed.
The DS just isnt powerfull enough for emulation like that.
However, the system could easily run a game like LBA1 (hell, the GBA could), if the game was recoded for the platform.

Couldnt get it to work on my GBAMP....do I need specific files in the directory? does it need to be DLDI patched?

Moonshell didnt boot it at all, and DSOrganiser got as far as
"Loading sprites..."

It worked for me when I put it in the root directory of my flashcard, and it doesn't require any of the LBA files with it. (I guess it has the brick data inside the nds file)
My R4DS automatically DLDI patches any ds application I run, so I can't tell though if its necessary for this

Yes, I forgot to mention, it's not DLDI patched. I have a R4DS myself and I couldn't test it on other linkers. All the necessary files are embedded in the *.nds so you don't have to put it in the root of your flashcard. However the lib I used for the embedded file system (efs) is not 100% reliable, I'll change that later.

PS: I wouldn't recommend DSOrganize to boot games/homebrews, the author specifies that bootloading is not his focus on this software and only provides limited support for that.

PS2: I'll try to make a room/island viewer tonight (it's 9am here), shouldn't take long.
So far I've been using PAlib to get things done quickly (I've started develloping for DS a few weeks ago), but I've moved to libnds for my other game project (a platformer which will potentially become a platformer maker as I'm develloping a lot of tools to design my levels/styles/enemies etc), so I'll move to libnds for LBA-DS too.

PS3: This demo was made in a few hours (including making tools to convert and resize the bricks for DS), so I didn't pay attention to optimization, if I am to actually make a game out of this, I'll be more careful.

How will the nintendo WIi launch work with 24 hour walmarts? The nintendo wii is to be launched on the 19th, i believe. I've been planning on hanging around my local walmart, which is a 24 hour one, until midnight, when it should be released. Does anyone know what's gonig to happen? Will walmart close the doors for a bit, in anticipation, or will i just get to roam the store all night?

The Wii launch was over 2 years ago, nearly 3. I don't know what you're talking about.

But for what it is worth, midnight launches at stores like that are as follows:

1.) Go to store, if you want a Wii you get a ticket. If you pre-order, you get a special ticket.

2.) Lines are formed with ropes/dividers/etc. so that people in line to buy the console are not allowed to just wander aimlessly. 1 line for preorders, 1 line for the rest.

3.) These lines often are kept outside the store, since they can become raucous.

4.) At midnight, lines are led into store with more dividers, and generally take them right to the gaming section, and then right out of the store. It's very self-contained.

I was wondering, but then I said, well, maybe he lives in a country that has not gotten the Wii yet.

Of course, to have a Wal-Mart without Wii...a tad suspicious!

Actually, if you search for that post on Google, you will find that that exact same post has been posted on other forums too.
