Maybe it's a LBA1.5 or LBA0, although the latter would not make much sense as LBA0 wouldn't really be about Twinsen and Zoe.

reboot is quite broad of a term, it's sometimes read as remaking. But it could also mean restarting the franchise in maybe a slightly different way.

This is such great news. I think there are mainly two reasons for not calling it LBA3, the first being that it’s (mainly) not done by the original creators, but they’re going to have more of a consultant role in this project. The other thing is that they want to position it as a standalone game to target a wider audience than just the people who played LBA1 and 2.

Yeah, there's no way it can just be called LBA 3 at this time.

to be honest if I ask him this on linkedin, where he just posted that job description, he might think I am stupid

Lets asume it is for lba3, and we will get more details when he's ready

I'm in. Still, we don't know how much involvement and control over it will Fred and Didier have. Let's also start calling it LBA3: Genesis of the Stellar Entity, as it was planned. Just to be sure they'll do the proper thing.


I for one can't settle for Twinsen Cart, tower defense, card game or online pay to win Twinsen and his Dino Fly farm.
