For converting to MP3 I would advise audiograbber
(www.audiograbber.com)

Ripping from CD to WAV with AudioGrabber and then converting it from WAV to MP3 with the Lame encoder is the ultimate way.

I'm using MusicMatch Jukebox btw, works fine for me. But it's a bit too commercial stuff.

Yeah, but that's only the half of it. First he's gotta find an artist that no one has ever heard of, download his music put into MP3 and then shove his name in the ID3 tag!

All this takes time, be patient.

Oh my gosh, is this what internet conversations used to look like in our youth? Deary me.

I wasn't actually lying here, though. I really did have to run my music output to a CD recorder, record that live, and rip the CD to my computer. I can't remember if I worked out how to make Mp3s in that period. :-D

Ditto, wacko. Well said.
Very prophetic too - it's not just a good thing, it has pretty much become the ONLY thing.

this!

also i just realized that my tracks now sometimes sound louder than the prodigy back in the day, but you just crank up those old tracks louder with your audio system. But music tech has come a long way.

some people on the mbn even asked if i could mail them my cd

yeah for one song. The River, I put it out under the name JR, but somehow spotify lists it under the wrong artist. He's famous so i probably miss out on some streams.

it was put out for an audio cd by food for woofers, they never paid me though. i supposably made 50 euro's back then, and who knows what from spotify streams under the wrong artist.

I've been a loyal listener to lofi playlists and today YouTube's algorithm suggested my one of those but with Cheems the meme dog heheh...... Normally I use these playlist when I wanna really focus on something like when writing or studying, this videos gets the trick done plus the extra of having a background meme along the way xD
