That FTP problem is solved That "error"" are in my firewall and I fixed it.. Now that FTP works.. And that game is BEST of the lba fangames I mean beta relases,., But that walking animation is good but what is that "bump" in twinsen tunic?? But twinsen can swim!! that is very good point.. Sorry about my English....

Hey!! That game dosent work in shool 500mhz and 128Mt ram memory ...computer... It have messange :: not enought memory 0MB requiret..

And in shool 875mhz duron 240Mt ram memory and somestupid Hp integrated graphish card.. It works but game is very slow and sahadows are wrong place...

Runs perfectly on my Duron 1400 w/ 256 under XP. Should be no problem really, it's not very graphically intensive. Will try and get the new version when I get home today

The FTP isn't working here now though...

jasiek: from wich image are you working? Or just your imagination? I want to model some buildings, but I cant find good referencepictures of them

I know what you mean, I've got the same problem with some other things, you will just need to experiment with the position of the tree, there are probably some blocks that cast a shadow in places where there should be no shadows, or you can entere the properities of the tree and check the "unlit" box.


I'm using my imagination and the picture of Citadel Ilsand in TGA format for textures.

The bump is something strange, but i've got it now, it's because I used bone animation for the whole move, and the corrected it by using normal animation, which the program doesen't allow

The FTP work's now

Moddeling anything right now is kind of dificult, becouse my mouse is acting strange

I'm downloading from you FTP, but it's running really slow.

I saw your bone-system in the MED, and I saw you even boned his medaillion..? Could you make an option to control the camera by yourself (mouse or something) ? Then you could have the option to even see twinsen's face, and his medaillion swinging as you run

I think the mouth of twinsen is a little bit to happy though... I never saved a planet smiling all the time

The tree stays black, and even if I attach a texture to it in the WED, it still remains black

Can't wait to see 0,2

I've redone the bone system, well, you know in LBA2 the medalion was also boned, the only bones i've added to the original bone system are the new bones in the hands, but the new model doesen't move yet, it's dificult to do it when your mouse is breaking down My poor optical Logitech


I think I could copy some scrpt from the fly-through camera, to make it move. I've also thought that I could make a camera very like the original one, by doing four cameras, from different angle, and assign the button to enter, instead of F7

I've tried to do the animation, but it's no use with that mouse of mine,

I want the mouth to change with his behavior For now, he's just going to be smiling like that

There's more terrain id the middle of the island, some streets, didn't have much time, i would have done the new animations but the mouse is killing me, I'll try to make it work (glue, scizzors and a piece of a broken floppy disk )

Jasiek, I've been bizzy to work on a map for your game. I tryed to make it as low poly possible, so it won't look like the game, but i'll try to to it the best I can.
Can you already see what i'm making ?

err anyway, I have the A5 Engine somewhere on me hard drive has the same stuff as the A6 but I am not sure if they are compatable, I'll have a go at making some stuff for this project if ya want.

Here are some new models I made today, as usuall, i made them really lowpoly though, to make the game run fast with even 6 or 7 of these models in 1 scene.

Here! I just don't have time right now, And I'm doing something special, I hope it's going to look good, I've made a redraw of the Citadel Island on paper, and made it more realistic, like, have you ever wondered what happens to that Island when there's a storm of some sort ? It would surely disappear under water. But, I won't say anything more, I just hope I'm going to make it right

BTW. Have anybody played Beyound Good & Evil 2 ? That game was great, it had a climate I had only seen before in LBA, with great humor. And that Pig Pey'j he was so much like Baldino, you could almost feel something Lbaish in that game, I would like the new Lba to be based on something like that, with wide open spaces, amazing water, great sky, islands, a world full of strange creatures and bizzare races, futuristic and yet funny vehicles, and graphics that could take your breath away

Does someone know how to convert a mdl or 3ds file into a hmp( terrain )file?

Errr, Beyond good and evil 2 ??

Then you just played a miracle, becouse it isn't released yet (wasn't it darkflame?)

I did plates BG&E 1 and that was probably one of the best games I played after LBA1 and 2. (It made me almost cry to see that there are good games in this world full of shooters)

I made some texture opdates, just to see how it look, it have to be retextured anyways, becouse 3d game studio doens't import textures.

Like the model but those multicoloured tiles are a bit much - maybe tone them down to blues or yellows
