I am always fascinated at how these creations have lasted and will keep on lasting forever on the minds of so many people around the world. For how many pieces of art we've experienced in childhood can we say the same?

I suppose Twinsen's House, along with Citadel Island, have been the "Mona Lisa" of these forums - they've been depicted so many times, in so many different ways, for various purposes. Movies, fan games, fan remakes, pure nostalgia, etc.

But yours excel very much from previous attempts I've seen, despite others being really good, I think yours is 99% close to perfection! If only those Adeline artists could see what you did, they have probably never imagined what they were doing would have such a lasting impact - or that anybody would ever have desire to copy what they did to impeccable detail...

Not sure why you did it or how you're going to use it, but congratulations on your perfecionism and skill!

PS: I suppose you could upload to us an even larger screenshot? since, the quality is infinite and all. Something like 4000px or more.

I did it mostly as self-challenge to see how much I improved over past 10 years. Turns out - quite.
As for usage - model link is in the description of the artstation post (link provided), I suppose lba2 remake project could use it. As for doing a larger render. Well. Sure why not.

Link to 4k render https://imgur.com/a/nyAasEu ...Man, I'm really getting bummed by the resulting lampshade texture. Ah well.

Hey buddy, I was genuinely interested in your artwork and took the time to look into it. Took my time to write a proper comment too, which is more than most people are bothering to do nowadays. I think such small interactions are priceless, really, and worth far more than $1 or anything like it.

I'd love if anybody did so to my music, for instance, and wouldn't expect anything else in return other than just the joy of having another human appreciating what this other human on another piece of dirt in this planet did.

;)

As they say best sign of appreciation is with money.

Really impressive that you have the dedication to finish this! And very cool to see how much you've improved. It's interesting how much work went into getting the textures right (which really shines in the 4k render). I wonder if the LBA2 artists used existing texture packs then to save time.
