LBA ultra game

This is an LBA ultra game that's currently work in progress. I don't know the storyline and all you can do is walk around. I've included some screenshots - but I have no space to upload stuff so I can't currently upload the game - any suggestions.

actually don't worry.

the high-res (recomended version) here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HVABLQ18

the lo-res (lame version) here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=54O3SAA4

Please note: It's still very buggy, try not to walk into anything for too long as you'll eventually go through it.

Press ESC to exit.

Check out the ball in Arthur's room and go near the window for some lighting effects.

parallel connections? How bizarre, ChaosFish I'll send it to you if that's ok. I've sent it apparantly, but I don't trust this dodgy college email.

No need to send it to me, here it is.

It looks astonishing! I want LBA3 to have that sort of camera
Have you got a plot in mind?

And, yet it downloads through chaos, and not megaupload. Odd...

Nice engine!
I don't realy like the camera to speak the truth!

I liked the ball! It's cool!

I have a few ideas for plot. I might make it more of an LBA parody than a serious lba game really. I just don't know whether I can be bothered to build all of Citadel Isl. I probably will though for fun.

I'm planning on including lots of mini-games too eventually, like lba-racing (reborn) and other stuff.

I quite like the camera too (chaosfish), though I'm not sure whether it works in an indoor environment (sebz) designed to be two-dimensional. Anyway I'll keep all up to date with progress.

Wow

*Jasiek run's and hides behind a rock, feeling jelous and unworthy of ever working on his LBA remake thingie again*

And now serious, you need models of Twinsen or any outdoor models just ask The feel of this thing is awesome the lighnting and all, the only thing I didn't like were the characters, but they are obviously not finished yet. I've been thinkig about mini games too, flying on a dinofly for instance: you could fly through canions in the hamalayi, collecting things and all, or beeing chased but funfrocks troops on funky looking zeppelin gun platforms, and shoting back at them with your magicball, I just lack the programing skills to make a mini game out of it.

yup.....i've read the thread before ....... anyway , i still want thehen to tell me about the creation software .... I wanna work with him , as for now , all other remakes are slowly progressing ....... most of them seem to try to develop the whole Universe using C++ ... even delphi is slow ........ anyway ......... it's their choice

Hi guys,

I'm new here (actually it's my first post but I know this forum for a long time...).
I'm really impressed by this demo. It seems that TheHen used the blender game engine to make this beautiful thing. Correct me if I'm wrong TheHen, but I'm saying that because of the blender's icon that is displayed with the exe file on my computer.
Keep going on this!!!!

In other worlds, they put a message inside an asteroid to protect it while it travels through space to reach some other planet. In this case it is a gift, a guitar, rather than just a message.

Twinsen's house is surely really amazing.
Zoe and twinsen's models though are a bit less good (personnal opinion).
I'd like to see the result of Thehen's house model with Jasiek's characters models...
