If that happens to you, then your RAM memory would probably be no more than 128 MB.

I'm not actually going to take part in this argument, because I have no experience with Steam, but if what Jasiek says is true, Steam is ruining, games new and old.

Even if the money was going back to their original producers, old classics would be far more effective at producing good revenue if they were freeware. Think of it this way, if they got 3 bux for every person playing the classic, that'd mean they'd need over 30 people to buy the old classic, as opposed to selling it for free, and encouraging I'm sure more than one of those thirty, to buy the newer version.

It'd essentially be a new way of advertising, try before you buy, except unlike a demo, you get the feel for the whole game, which is usually what makes it so classic. I usually find with demo's they pack everything into the start, then when you get the actual game, there really isn't much past the demo version.

Seriously, it's such a small profit, it really is squeezing every last penny out of it, which is totally killing it. Anything turning any form of sport, gaming, or any entertainment really into a business destroys the thing its actually meant, i.e the pleasure of being entertained by whatever is meant to be entertaining.

Yes, and in a few years we can all say, lol I can't believe we used Steam next to this new great development we didn't have back then! But for now, let's praise it!
