Snake
Ok so theres the finished snake, tell me what you think about textures etc.. and if it fits I will export it to blender and try to animate.

Well David is right, it's a nice enough model but looks too much like Wall-E.
Remember the "head" which is also a double cannon needs to rotate and move up and down (maybe like a hydraulic piston). I'd stay with the "egg" shape for the base and maybe go somewhere from there. Tbh I'd rather have it levitate and have a sort of like a half of a teardrop shape, with vents on it and such. Sort of like a marriage between these three: ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can animate it, I think that I need to set two bone sets, one for the turret and one for the body.The body must be easy, just tilt the whole body in the direction the robot "walks". And for the turret, one "no ciclic" animation turning left and other one turning right.
Or maybe you can script the turret for tracing twinsen if he is under the 120ยบ of the middle of the robot, and make the robot walk first and then aim if he is out of the admited degrees of the turret. Anyways if this is too hard we can always have a fix turret and make the whole robot aim the character. |

In the script, you'll only be able to set the x/y position and rotation angle of the whole model, not a particular bone. If you split the model in two blend files you can make some kind of chasing turret

I think it still got some sort of "fatty" look, that machine was very swift/svelte and elegant in LBA.
