It was quite short, but I suppose there's only so much the doctor could have done without advancing the plot. Honestly, you've now made me interested in watching the second film when it is released.

You might find The Mist interesting, watching it gave me the same feeling as reading the plot:

My only complaint is that The Mist is never resolved, and that Apt Pupil doesn't have a very deep story since it's based on a novella (shorter than a novel).

Stephen King must have the most films/tvs shows made of any author ever.
I just noticed "Haven" I'm watching was by him too.
Oddly, I tend to prefer his non-horror stuff as well.

Just watched The Mist. Cool. Looks like the book might have been the source of inspiration to the Black Mesa incident.

The Avengers - Looks pretty fun. At least we know this will have some Wit to the script.
I suspect the plot will be messy/rushed though - explaining how Thor gets back will probably waste some time.

In Time - the concept is good, allthough has been done before. (Terry Prachetts "Strata" basicly had the same idea, and probably there was novels before that too).
Only thing that puts me off is the whole "humans shouldnt be immortal" line. Bollocks to that.

Judging by the trailer, this might end up being the most faithful game/movie adaption ever.
Does help if you start with a plot based game rather then a action one though.

Probably a tribute, although its going to be hard to watch the movie without a nagging feeling the monsters arnt the real threat.

I just checked apparently Del Toro is a fan and asked Valve for permission. So its at least a authorized reference. I really hope its more though, and they mention they got the AI as a prototype from Aperture or something :P
