Impressive! Some people started early this month an online petition for Boll's retirement. You know this guy, the infamous cinema director of "classics" like Alone in The Dark, BloodRayne and The House of The Dead

Uwe stated:
If 1.000.000 people will sign this.
I'm out of the movies business




There are 216.978 signatures so far.

If you reload the site after a few seconds you'll see new signatures.
It seems people dislike Uwe a lot

I heard of this, he also has a pro-boll one going too. (which will be subtracted I am guessing)

While I am against his movies, especialy him repeatidly getting large sums of money to make them, he actualy seems quite a nice guy. A bit like a modern Ed Wood.
He seems a good sport, given he paid for his top 5 critics to have a flight to a hotel and fight him in a boxing match

Yeah, there are no real personal races in Germany. The federal diet elects the chancellor. And federal diet and federal council together elect the president. Not much to run for here.
