Well don't believe the hype. I did hear of these storys too.
Zed himself lets you know all is well you have nothing to worry about.
Zed said you don't have to be a follower of Soma just keep the name of Zed in your heart.

Anyway I don't mind what other reasons people think they need to wear a weird hat. Was long glad someone noticed it. Maybe it's to be left open, make people wonder about it.
