I see you online Drelnor, so I guess you solved the issue by yourself.
Acutally you do not even need to enter a password, you can just leave it blank. |

Ive downloaded v0.45 and the patch for it but the game wont run at all.
I open the file but it just closes and says LBANet.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close ![]() Im running windows xp sp2 i have a AMP dual core 4800+ 2gb Ram and a nvidia 9600GT graphics card. Amy ideas?

you see me online? wierd.. i didnt solved the problem but well let me explain exacly what happens:
in the 1st time i try log in it auto-closes, at the otjhers the ID/´password problem happens ( im using vista business , 32bit) |

Can you try to check "Play in local mode" and see if that works.
Also did you try to run the program in compatibility mode? |

well i got them but i dont really know what to do with the image, the music i extracted to data folder but image.rar i dont have any idea of what it is for ( i guess it is for CD image but it is .rar soo...)

Inside both rar files (Music and Images) are "data" folders.
Just copy these folders in to your LBAnet directory, so that they replace the original data folder. Then your data folder will be updated with all the music and images that are required.

Actually it is my fault, currently the release is a bit messy so let my clarify the whole thing:
Game prerequisites: .net framework 3.5: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Visual C++ 2008 redistribuable: http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/d...displaylang=en Current release v0.46:
Supported platform: The game has been tested and works under windows XP (32bits). It has not been tested under vista, window 7 or under any 64bits operating system. I just found a bug, when I press the arrows on the character selecting screen, the game freezes...
And also, I somehow bugged out of it, and since that moment, I'm stated as always connected...

Thanks for pointing the bug out. The best when finding a bug is to add it in the bugtracker that is on my signature.

Nice little game. Good job so far.
If you have time you can add NPCs, story, make it into a small, simple MMO, it would be fun. I played it on Windows 7 64-bit, works with no problems |

Hi there,
The server is up and running. And so we have a new release v0.5. It now comes on two separate installers: game: http://lbanet.googlecode.com/files/LbanetSetup.msi images: http://lbanet.googlecode.com/files/LbanetImageSetup.msi Release changes: - added release note file - added a setup program to install the client on windows - added an away feature. The client will automatically be set to away after 5min of inactivity. However you can manually set/reset the away state by typping /afk /back in the chatbox - added version check between client and server - the server is now synchronizing all map objects - added some new entities like lifts and doors all over the maps - fixed a bug where the game was crashing at login screen when pressing arrow key - fixed bugs 0000227 0000228 of the bugtracker Enjoy! |

I was playing a bit around with converting gr1 files into lbanet format and finally succeded. Now it should be made easy to create single maps using lbarchitect and convert them directly without having to pass by hqr files.
Then we can again easily merge maps togther into a bigger one and try to fill the holes by small addon maps created with lbarchitect. Hey Rince.
I downloaded the latest version, but it won't run on my Win7 64bit. Are there any logs or anything I can check for errors? Basically, it just opens a white window then freezes. |

So is it the installation which does not work or when you try to open the game after the installation? Unfortunatly I do not have windows 7 or a 64bit computer so I could never test on this platform yet. Did you run the previous version of the game also with win7 or is it the first time you try on the platform? Basically, there is only two logs: CEGUI.log and LBAClient.log |
