That sounds like Fred, its fairly typical for him to respond with short, coincise and to the point messages.

It is unfortunate, but I'm not shocked nor saddened. Certainly his dedicated webpage is fairly encouraging, and I appreciate it!

It also puts to rest my conclusion that he passed away (He hasn't responded to e-mails in a very long time).

About the Bet, I will allow my client to speak on my behalf

Dear Sirs,

It has come to my clients attention that there exists an impending deadline, whereby my client agreed to expose himself online in the event that a particular video game, "Little Big Adventure 3" had not entered production. My client wishes to withdraw from the bet, and I will argue on his behalf.

Cerain notes need to be taken into concideration by the Jury regarding the events surrounding this unfortunate bet, that being:-

• My client was a minor at the time of placing the bet.
• My clients faith prohibits him from exposing himself
• Previous online mockery and bullying has left individuals mentally scared, often suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Dissorder, or commiting sucide.
• My client has since married, and his wife has threatened to leave him, and possibly sue him in the event that he exposed his self.

My client accepts that it is inevitable he loose the bet, however he would like to make it clear that he shall not, under any circumstances, expose himself. I hope this clarifies the matters at hand, and thank you for reading this.

I think some of you guys have read too much into this!

I imagine the game will probably be part of a new franchise, so I doubt we'll be able to guess what this game is about until it's either announced or leaked. I think TRI may either be the initials of said game or related to the codename for the project.

Most importantly it's good to hear tha Fred is still working on this game with Ubisoft, after not hearing anything for a while I was worried that it had been cancelled.

Meh, I'm not getting my hopes up. After Trium Planeta never materialized, I don't really expect much in the way of another "epic" game like LBA was. I guess my faith in Fred has diminished, replaced by faith in other devs, Hideo Kojima in particular.

Hideo will be tied to the slave-ship that is MGS for the rest of his life. He keeps trying to leave, but Konami clearly have something on him.

Fred, meanwhile, just lacks funds/publisher support completely. Not his fault really, unless he has terrible sales tactics. Ditto why its not his fault that Argatha (a 99% finnished game) never got released.
