New android and iOS versions of LBA

I will get both versions. I will probably play on iPad since the screen is bigger. But the idea of having the game always with me makes me buy for Android as well.

Well, personally I can't decide what I can't wait for more: to play it, or to see if it still uses hqr files, and if so, how they differ from those of the PC version.

Zink, I think it's "their" version of LBA (I think it's not using orginally files) (if I thought I could do the same with my project and be first;p, but I want to use orginal files
 )

So how do you think "their" version differs from the PC version? Completely different data formats? That would not make sense. They can be packaged differently, but the essential data should be roughly the same.

Why not? They could "rebuild" package to their format (or for example 3D objects reformated to 3DStudio / Blender)

It's a possibility that they are actually using more uncompressed packages to give the phones/tablets better performance, but results in a bigger filesize
I doubt that they would just have raw materials and 3D objects that are not packaged one way or the other...

most likely.. but I bet that they've engine that support 3d graphics, music, etc. and it I think it would be faster to "compile" it to their's own format then making from scratch engine for that

I really want to support this rerelease by buying it but I don't own any of those devices, which is a bummer. I'll see if I can buy it as a present for a friend or something along those lines...
