LBA Music Project starting to kick in real great...

Wel then, so far I've got like 3 finished music pieces, that means they're all mixed-in and edited back and forth and channeled up and down and sampled in and out and tuned over and out and flip-flopped front and back and whatever the hell else needs doing
These are "War In Dreamland", "Treason In Proxima Island", and a new piece I finished today called "The Coming Of Spring".
I have them all on Mp3 versions, and will record them in a live studio with live instruments somewhere at around the middle-end of June, with the gr8 aid of 2 cousins of mine.
Hopefully by then I'll have the rest of the stuff finished as well. War In Dreamland still needs some fixing though, but it's basically very much finished.

Assuming the LBA movie's still going along alright, I'd like to know what you guyz (whoever's in charge, I already forgot) would think of adding some of these tracks into it.

I've been having some problems to upload "The Coming Of Spring", I'll hope I'll fix it by tonight (Sunday night). This piece is kinda "calmer" than other stuff I did, no drums this time It's also the most LBAish thing I've done so far, I really love how it came out.
Oh, and about the first 4 seconds - I know, I kinda copied them from "The Empire" without even noticing Amazing what subconscious can do to ya.
But it's just those 4 seconds, the rest's totally different from that track.

Anyhow, the moment I manage to upload it, I'll post a link here.
In the meanwhile I'd like to hear from the guyz doing the LBA project.

Evil-Twinsen - Certainly your music would be more then welcome in the project.
I would like the project to be mainly fan music, but it must also include the LBA theme.
We won't really be able to sort the music out properly till the storyboards and scripts are all done. (ie, a long time in the future)
We will then really need to fit the tune to the mode and pace of the scene. We will really need the pieces made to fit the timming of the scene too.

I love hebrew jiberish, but why do you people always put the scrollbar at the wrong side?

Also, there is a bit of a different problem, after pushing download, it seems to ask me for information, and since my hebrew is just as good as my chinees, I can't make anything out of it

lol... That's cause in Hebrew you write from right to left, not left to right.
That means that if I wanna write "Twinsen"
In Hebrew it'll be "nesniwt" (only in Hebrew letter, of course).

Btw I just noticed it doesn't download it, but play it. You can just add the line to Get Right or Download Accelerator or something in order to download it.

Hmm..
Yea that's the thing, after I uploaded the 3 files I noticed they asked not to upload fiels with "space" in them... Like, not to upload "Twinsen's Odysse", but upload "Twinsen's_Odysse"...

So I thought they'll change the name of the file anyway, so I'd better not give a link directly to the file but to the page with the link.
But apparantly they changed it automatically.

lol, you guyz are the greatest... I just love reading your comments, you got no idea what a terrific feeling it is

I don't think I've surpassed Philip Vachey yet... Though I do feel like with every track I get better, and I like that.

Suddenly the older tracks, "Turmoil Of The Stellar Entity" and "Inspiration" and all the others really seem "immature" to me... But maybe it's just cause I've listened to them too much...

Anyhow, today I started working with no inspiration at all, just wrote a small pizzicato chorus and thought I'd build it up from there.

Well eventually I came up with this thingy... It's called "Desert Bloom", and talking LBA-wise, this music kinda belongs at White Leaf Desert. The way the flute and the Oboe and the Clarinet mix together makes it sound like streams colliding or something, although the actually music sounds a lot "Desertish".
The whole music sounds like a desert slowly being filled with streams and flowers and stuff... You'll see what I'm talking about when u hear it

Anyhow, I personally really love it, I think this is my favourite so far. But, u know, each dude and his taste.
Which means if you don't like it you're gonna taste some blood

Well this is the last one I'm gonna work on for a while. I got lots of finals now, and papers to hand in... And besides, I'm exahusted... I think waiting a few weeks will give me some new ideas.
Anyhow, Saturday I'm gonna go to my cousin's house, I talked to him and he said he wants to hear my music, and then we'll start working on getting it into a studio.

Nope, I've got midi to. I write it down as midi, with the notes and all, then I import the midi into real samples.

Well I'm a 56ker as well, u needn't be ashamed
I can give you the midi as well, but the difference is pretty big. First off, the samples are a lot better. Besides, in the mp3 version I got each instrument on it's on channel, it's own "side", that way you hear the Oboe on mid-right, the Clarinet on extreme-left, etc, etc.
But I can give ya the midi version too so you can compare them. I'll do so in the next post, u can't add files in edit.

Its quite a good way of testing a soundcard this
They both sound excelent, I think the MP3 was the better version.
But that might just be because I heard it first.
I often find the first version of something seems better no mater what...I think my brain gets "set" on the first time I listen
