Did anyone watch Eurovision??

I though Estonia should have won...although Israel and Russia had good songs. Austria's was absolutely hilarious (if you understood it though).

Btw in the UK we are always treated with Terry Wogan's commentary, which is both sarcastic and funny. It's well worth watching just to hear him.

the UK were terrible, but they didn;t deserve 0 points. Yeah the commentary was funny, I like Terry watsit. I thought....who were second again? Russia were great though, not taTu'sd best song I msut admit, but still pretty good. I didn't understand Austria's song, and I was in fact outside shouting to me dad ont he roof adjusting the ariel to be careful, but Sam told me it was funny. Just from ther guy with the strange hat bobbing up and down. Turkey shouldn't ahve won in my opinion, the song wasn't any good, or maybe that's just the i ahte people who get their bellies out all the time coming out i me.

One of the worst years ever. Not many professional songs, just the winner, Germany and Sweden I would say. I liked those mentioned and Belgium best so it was a pretty nice result. However, too many songs were total crap (east states). Cant remember any of those. UK 0 points hehe, they better start caring a bit more in that country since they have the possibilities. Their song this year was sucking as hell, it looked like some bad Aqua imitation and I dont remember the song anymore. Lewl@Austria. Its sad that all those west countries (UK, France, Ireland (they dont wanna win obviously), Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Italy (they arent even in it anymore))dont care so much about it anymore, that, in combination with the crappyness of the east, makes the ESC worse. Nah, everyone should be as Sweden. adieu

Eurovision is like a network that all the european national television channels are members of. Once a year it has a music competition called Eurovision Song Contest where every country sends one brand new song with artist(selected in a national qualification competition). The country that wins hosts the competition next year. It was founded in 1956 and the original idea was to send music to the festival that representated every country's traditions, now it is just Turkey that still does that tho. Today most countries send B-class pop music, and the east states send C-class pop music. Etc

They are a member of the Eurovision, otherwise they had been pretty alone . Although I think that they should be kicked out if they keep sending ugly guys who stand in a row of 6 singers and sing even more ugly songs.

1. Iceland did well, I liked it.
2. austria was hilariously shite. It didn't deserve a kick up the arse. IT was so bad, people voted for it.
3. Turkey sucked.
4. Spain was good.

Because Israel participates in European competition, not because of geographical reason, but because of political reason.

Actually, if you look here http://www.eurovision.tv/public/totalizator/index.html we received enough 'individual' votes to place us 16th, ahead of France and Israel. It's just the televoting system that let us down

I think that Belgium or Sweden should had won instead of Turkey.
Denmark was not included in the Eurovision for the second time, as we lost last year.
And what about there is going to be two Eurivison Song Contests the next year?
