Language problem

okay, i download the patch and run it, no problems, but when i run the game, it is in french and when i try to go to the config thingummy to change it the game goes back to the way it was before i ran the patch, how do i change the language without somehow de-activating the patch. HELP!

number 2, although when i have run the patch it only affects the file called 'LBA2' not 'AUTORUN' or 'BACKUP' and since i cant change the language without using autorun, i dont know what to do

Then use hqr manager to change the files inside the HQR file that contains the language files.

okay, i downloaded the HQR manager and launched it the instructions say:

aunch it (if it's already open, exit it and launch it again), and press the "..." button near the "Open HQR file" text.
Here, you should choose the TEXT.HQR file in your desired LBA game's folder. Remember to choose the TEXT.HQR file of the proper LBA game!

In the file browser, go to the folder which you extracted the .lbt files to.
Choose entry #2, choose the first lbt file, press replace.
Choose entry #4, choose the second lbt file, press replace.
Go on like that with all even entries until #28.

Now press "COMPILE", and choose again the TEXT.HQR file. Press "Save", press "Yes".

In the game, don't forget to choose English text (even entries from 2 to 28 stands for the English text).

That's it! Enjoy your new LBA translation!

It's really simple. Just Drag the file into the right entrie and choose the option "Build output file" when you have all files to compile.

You open the TEXT.HQR file with LBAPackEd (this program just open .hqr, .ile, .obj, .vox) and then put the dialogs files (*.lbt) in the right entries.
You have an info column that shows what have in each entrie. This can help you much to know exactly where to drag the file.
