The Sopranos has to be one of the greatest shows of all-time, no doubt. M*A*S*H is also one of my favorites.

Did I mention that Voyager is probably the best StarTreck series as far as storyline goes? amazing how of all the other shows it actually followed a main plot and not just random episode subplots. A lot of people dislike that show though, and many consider it one of the *worst* ST series.

there could be more exceptions

but well, if you dont like startrek, then this one you'll definitely get bored with. Its for people who can concentrate in what you are watching..

And hey, i used to watch SWAT, a 70s series

it was very fun, i always wanted to have one of those uniforms, they are very simple, thats why i liked it. (the opposite of swat nowadays)

Recent tv series are well downloadable through BitTorrent. Sometimes full seasons of older series are available there as well, depending on popularity. Otherwise the eDonkey network (eMule, ed2k, overnet) is probably your best bet.

(Also on larger LAN parties you can sometimes find huge collections of obscure and rare tv series. )

To be honest I havent seen much of Dallas, just a few episodes, but I love the classic soap concept (which differs much from shit like Melrose Place or Sunset Beach and similar)

Azureus + torrent directory/search site (like ISOhunt or bi-torrent) cause you can't search inside the actual program.

Yeah; because of the immense unexpected success of the series (which is justified ) they made new episodes instead of broadcasting the existing 12,13,14. It's going to be more open to sequel seasons now, that might be a good thing (more Lost, yay) but could be bad too maybe (series becomes a drag and episodes won't be as exciting as they are now). Well, I have good faith that they'll success in keeping it nice.

I heard word of continued broadcasting in february 2005 before, so early january is good news actually ^^



I basically don't watch any TV, for the same reason... I download whatever is cool, it always takes ages before nice series are on TV here and even then I forget to watch them (with commercial breaks) or they're broadcasted at impossible times.

These are my 2 favourite TV Shows at the mo:

Shin Chan - Used to be on Fox Kids and now theyve brought it back, its about a weirdo 5 year old who has a brain of a peverted teenager. Has to be one of the funniest programmes ive seen in a long time. Basically he tries to annoy everyone around him as much as he can, especially his mum. Also funny stuff includes his impersonation of his principal and him trying to chat up older women. its popular in japan and has had 10 movies released. its sad its not that well known around here because really its one of the most original kids shows ive seen. currently on fox kids (uk) at 18:30, repeats next day at 14:30

Sunset Beach - Is on channel 5 at the moment , they brought it back because of popular demand, i used to watch this show a lot back when it was fresh 97-00. Its an american soap along the lines of dallas and melrose. basically its the worst overacting ever in a programme. i was very sad when it was cancelled the first time but it is cool that its on again. currently on weekdays on channel 5(uk) at 10:35
