As I said it's only up for a few days, wait a month or so for the grades to be representative.

The great thing about this site is that anyone can edit/add anything, a bit like wikipedia but with moderators. You can suggest yourself as an editor to an editorless tv show.

I won't give a review yet cause I've only seen the first episodes (about 7 of them), but it's now my new addiction.

In MIB, the MIB itself was established because of the Roswell incident,
and in Independence Day, that spaceship in the super secret underground facility in the desert was the one that crashed in Roswell.

And if you had actually bothered to read the wiki article you provided, you'd see that there were many movie references to Roswell...

I started watching "The Dead Zone" recently.
Pretty darn good.

Dead Zone gets very lame, very quickly.

Exactly when they started making awful Dead Zone episodes, I don't know.

It's sort of like Earth:Final Conflict. Amazing beginings, but horrible after first season.

• Recently finished 24 season 3. Might start with season 4 if I'm still in the mood (season 3 took me a loooong time to finish watching). The second half of season 3 was waaay better than the first half imo. It made the series worthwhile and quite enjoyable in the end.
  
  
• Almost finished Dead Like Me season 1. Fortunately there's still a season 2 after that. I love this show a lot, and I don't want to watch too much at once which would spoil the fun.
  
  
• Desperate Housewives second season starts out great with exactly the same mood of season 1. I'm going to follow this one week by week.
  
  
• Same with Lost. Season 2 episode 1 was lovely, and looking forward to the 2nd which should come out tonight.
  
  
• A friend of mine recommended Prison Break, and it seems there's quite a big hype around it. Only 6 episodes are out at the moment so it's easy to catch up, which I will probably do in the coming weekend.
  
  
• Another friend said The 4400 was ok, so I might watch season 1 (which consists of only 5 episodes I think). The whole 'gifts' theme of this series doesn't appeal to me too much, I think it's going to be too much drama bla bla. But I might give it a try anyway.
  
  
• If anyone's into Japanese shows/culture; I recently finished this jdrama* called Densha Otoko [the train man], which is about an otaku (übernerd) who saves a really classy pretty woman from a drunk harassing old fellow on a train, and they slowly get involved. These two are from completely different lifestyles and classes so to say, which is an important distuingishment in the Japanese society. The dude then goes on a forum with other nerds from all sorts of nerdy subdivisions (military otaku, porno otaku, train otaku, music otaku, italian suits otaku, anime otaku, cosplay otaku, etc) who try to give him advice on what to do next. It's a bit lame now and then and the main character pisses me off sometimes, but it's really hilarious and very lovable. If you're a bit into Japanese stuff and understand or would like to know a bit of the otaku lifestyle, give this show a try.
  
  But I guess this thread is mainly USA series related.
  
  By the way, there is also a movie based on the same book as this series coming out in a while, which could be nice if this series is too long for you. (This book is very popular in Japan and is based on a true story. The series and movie are very exagerated and romanticized though.)

*jdrama = Japanese drama series; sort of like a soap opera, only Japanese (duh) and not ongoing forever but rather a single season consisting of something like 11~18 episodes.

Did I hear "The Dead Zone" and "The 4400"??!

These 2, among with Lost, are my absolute favorite shows.
The Dead Zone *does* have some lame episodes. I can't disagree on that. Especially the first episodes of the 4th season. But if you get over these, and focus on the great episodes (which are the majority), you'll love the show. It's a great show.

The 4400 is even better than The Dead Zone (you should give it a try Darkflame!). I can't describe it more without giving away spoilers (I think I already gave some description in this thread), but I used it's music as my Windows startup sound So you can see how much I love it. The ending of the second season was so , I can't wait to see the next major plot turn.

Lost, well, Lost is Lost. Lost is good. Even a little better than The 4400

I haven't seen The Dead Zone yet. I don't have much time to! But did anyone manage to catch that new Supernaturalwhatever series? I watched the beginning, and basically fell asleep on the rest. That could have either been because I was tired or it sucked.

Anyhow, I love Lost, Dead Like Me (<3!!@$!$) and Six Feet Under.
