the UK allows double nationality, unless Pande has been born on UK soil, it's possible he's Polish as well.

Edit: actually, he could also have requested a Polish passport (besides his UK one)

Edit: if you're looking at nationality by passport/citizenship, then I'm not Polish. I have roots there though.
