Lba 2 Demo On Xp?

Ok, I'm Probably Being Stupid Here But Is It Possible To Get The LBA 2 Demo Running On XP? I Tried Clicking On The Install, It Came Up With An Error. I Went Into Command Prompt, Did All The Stupid Commands And Still Dunt Work. Is There Any Programs Or Anything I Could Use

- SimpsonMan: Install it in the exact same way, in which you would install the full version of the game (the European one).

Also, FunnyFrog's GeForce patch DOES work on the demo version as well. Be sure to use it.

But i tried everything, It still doesnt work. Sorry I didnt tell you the message.. This is what its saying when i try to install it:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. THE SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RUNNING MS-DOS AND MICROSOFT WINDOWS APPLICATIONS. CHOOSE CLOSE TO TERMINATE THE APPLICATION.

Then Theres The Options:

Close Or Ignore

When I press ignore nothing happens. is this a system error?

I just tried installing monkey island, and it came up with the same error

Ok, I Downloaded Scumm. But Its Asking For A Directory Where The Game Is. When I Put The Monkey Island 4 CD Into my drive, and selected D it didnt work. d is my cd drive. If Its Asking For The Installed File Then This Is my problem, I Cant Install It. There's Something Wrong With Some Kinda Installer Thing. Ive Had Monkey Island 4 on XP Before, So It Must Be a windows error. Whats Wierd Is That I Installed Age Of Mythology And It All Worked Fine

I don't remember, which, but there was a thread, where someone had the same problem. Just check the last few threads in System Problems.

My sister had the same problem.

Delete the autoexec.nt
or
Search for it and if there is a duplicate copy it into there.

(that should work)

in your C:\windows\repair there will be a backup autothingything.nt thing, copy this into your C:\windows\system32

[Tails X-Treme]

And copy it every time you change the resolution, because every time you do, it will be deleted from there.
