Twinsen = funfrock

I'm inclined to believe that Twinsen was actually behind Funfrock. Funfrock was a clone invented by Twinsen himself. He figured out that in the end the rebels would win. Thus, he was the victorious Quetch and found that conquering the hearts of the people was a more effective way of becoming the number 1 ruler.
Since Funfrock was a treat to Sendell, she let Twinsen into the well granting him powers. Which was what it was all about.

This is quite obvious, since in both games Funfrock is laughable easy to defeat. You cannot loose in agressive mode with the sword in lba1 (and funfrock practically leaves you to take the stronger green sword).

In lba2, Funfrock can be killed with the lightning spell. So you lose a clover but you win the game.

In lba2, Twinsen does not only hold great influence over Twinsun, but also over Zeelich. The plan has worked out.

In lba3, you will be Arthur with the mission to overthrow Twinsen.

nah.. that idea clashes with the first part of LBA1...
then again... he could have set that up to... but then would he make it all so hard from himself?

Well why shouldn't twinsens parents have had that plan
that would make more sence
they knew that twinsen could easily defeat Funfrock and so the decided to name him Twinsen to make it clear he's the hero of Twinsun

Maybe Hegesippe has knewn of that plan and so Twinsens parent's had to kill him because he didn't wannt to give out his key for the only things twinsen could use to finish the Plan.

We'll have to rewrite the Prequel

what ? how can u think of a dark plot in LBA??? this is a game which CANNOT possibly have any hidden/untold secrets.

lba is a dark game.

lba2 is not, but that's hardly a relevant game in defining lba's style.

apart from the huge sad-happy contrast in both games, what I wanted to say is that LBA is a game for kids, who's main goal is to create that lovely game atmosphere, offering a very entertaining gameplay ... the story is simple and nice, so there is NO intention from the developers to hide some secret plot from us ... LBA is NOT the case trust me

a kiddie game? not really, although yeah...sort of but not quite.
listen to the music, it's music for a much more adult audience.

Secondly....you are taking this theory seriously? rock on...

1) we all played LBA when we were kids
2) no adult plays LBA ( ok, maybe u can find 1 or 2 exeptions )
3) the music and atmosphere were THAT AWESOME because we were kids ... if we would have to play LBA for the first time at 30, we would find it stupid ...
4) it's a cartoonish game, with a magical world with lots of funny stuff going on ( easter eggs )
5) the whole game makes u laugh inside cause of the joy it's emitting ... even in LBA1

I really do believe it's a kiddie game ... but anyway that was not the point ... the point was that its main purpose is to play it as it is, enjoy the gameplay and the fun atmosphere ... not to "guess" and read behind the lines, searching for a devious plot

If by "kiddie" you mean the opposite of what is usually referred as "mature" (non-creative, based mainly of the lust for violence and the lust for sex) then yes, LBA is "kiddie".

I don't see why creativeness and imagination mean "kiddie". My uncle (an adult) introduced me to the game in the 1st place because he enjoyed it so much. I'm an "adult" next month, not gonna stop me playing it. You could say exactly the same thing for zelda and final fantasy - which are most defiently played by a lot of adults.

the music is not awesome because you are a kid. the music has deep layers in it that you will find much more meaning when you're a little older. Besides, i was 14 playing both games.

Definitely the music is very mature. except maybe lba2's version of the main theme.

Kiddie game? What the hell?

Temple of Bú is like almost the only place where you don't need to be good in English to be able to play it on normal conditions. And Temple of Bú has puzzles that gives me a headache.
