Where on White Leaf Desert do you think the Military Base Located?

Also, where would you think the area outside Temple of Bu is located?

When you are traveling between islands, do you remember the place where the arrow lands? That's the place you are on the first image... I don't remeber it myself, but you should be able to determine the location of the military base/temple using that

So I started a new game and got to Desert Island and your were completely correct.
There is even a post about this on this forum where Kobold already had a pic of it:

But I didn't fully believe that pic because it wouldn't fit in my Minecraft replica of White Leaf Desert.
But now I know for sure and I will have to modify my island a bit to make it fit, hopefully tomorrow or sometime on the weekend I have some new stuff to show you guys.

(Sorry for double post; edit time has expired)

So I made a video showing the area near Twinsens house, that includes all the interiors of all the buildings there.
Also, tell me if you like me talking over the video or if you rather have music playing in the background while walking around. First time I've done something like that so a bit of feedback would be nice.

*playing video*
Waow ! What an awesome voice you have !!
This looks neat !
Ooh, a painting inside the house ! (I've never played Minecraft)
Lol, Twinsen's house feels so closed with all the walls
... A skull above the sink
Those barrels must be stable
"ZoƩ and Twinsen had their private little moments" Never thought of that place as a private beach
... Nice roof ?

Waow... I wasn't very interested in your project so far, but this is very nice ! I'm impatient to see more !

The microphone does most of the work.

I'm glad you liked it.
I can understand this project may have seemed pretty lame since I never really showed anything new, but that's hopefully going to change.

Nice job I want to see how big White leaf desert will be

Btw, nice narration. The way you did it fit almost perfectly the purpose of the video

I was in the middle of placing White Leaf desert into the Citadel Island world.
(I built White Leaf Desert on another world for safety)
And I thought it would be a good time to take a screenshot of the comparison between the islands.
Its not perfect but it works, I would've liked White Leaf Desert to be a bit bigger but I'm too far into completing it so changing it now would be too much work.

QUICK UPDATE:
Finally updated the world so it works in the latest version of Minecraft. Been afraid of doing this because it could destroy the world.
But it worked without any hassle and all the plugins I had installed before are now on it again.

Getting the latest version of Minecraft means I get new blocks to play with, so I will replace some old blocks with new ones to make it fit better.
One example is that I now have white flowers, with which I can replace the yellow flowers in the park.

I almost actually made White Leaf Desert from scratch though.
I used a program to import a flat image into minecraft, then I built the sand on top of that image to make hills and stuff with the sand, it took probably +12 hours to do.

Totally worth it though!! :P

lawl you are insane. Why didn't you generate the island using sand only? I think there is a program that allows you to do that, I just don't recall the name

I guess I could've done that, but that wouldn't have been as fun now would it?

Sure, 12 hours placing sand blocks on top of normal blocks sounds like it was loads o' fun

I wish I still had time to play minecraft, it got kinda old for me but its still fun (I must have easily 700+ hours of gameplay, if not 1000+)
Specially the Aether mod
