Jesse - I think the problem would be collision detection (but Alex could answer this better than I)...

We're adding new swordfighting animations for sure, but I don't know about two swords...

As far as I know about the features of LBAnimator Studios, you can't add new polygons. How creating a second sword then?

Again, I don't know. It's technical.

I'm on the story end.

Like Kobold says, the only problem creating a model to handle 2 swords are indeed the technical limitations we currently have. It isn't a matter of collisions.
I hope to add more features to LBAnimator Studio to feet what we really need for this kind of projects. It won't be easy, but with time and patience we came with something .
When this project begun, for example, we couldn't code the game to actually work as we deserve, in LbaWin, and now we can. So, I'll stick with the same idea , less by less, we'll came with something to make this project as we like.

Coincidentally, we've just begun looking at concept art for new animations and trying to implement them...

Hegesippe will wear the tunic in the game, but he will have other clothing to wear as well. He will not begin with the tunic, either.

The inventory cannot be bigger than in LBA 1 (technical restrictions 'n' stuff). Whether they get to the limit, we'll see.

Let's just say Hegesippe can impress the ladies with his large...umm...sack.

I'll leave it at that.

Now that would be a pretty big spoiler, no?

To answer more generally, yes LeBorgne is in the game, but likely not in a way that you would expect.

Oh, and FWIW, don't expect to necessarily see all the same inventory items from LBA 1+2.

It would have been quite a surprise if you left out the only character who's mentioned to live in Hégésippe's time.

It would also have been erroneous.

Again, LeBorgne is in the game. I just doubt that he'd be in a role that many people would expect, given what we know about him from LBA 1. That's all I can say.

Hmmm... I'll take a guess...LeBorgen is either Hégésippe's financial lawyer or better yet his boat salesman

As of right now, the Demo is planned for late August at the earliest, September at the latest (again, this is as of right now, things can change. See this post to Dino-Fly in another thread regarding the progress of the demo.

With regards to the release date of the completed game, that is harder to say. I still believe that we could finish the project by the end of 2007 - that's still 4 + 1/2 months away. A lot can get done in 4 + 1/2 months if the right pieces fall together, and we can all work hard (again, see the above link).

Until I sit there and can say with confidence this team has too much work to do and will be unable to get it done in time, I still think that our release date of late 2007 is feasible. But check the website. We'll definitely update if that changes, because we don't want to fool anybody or give people false hopes if that isn't what is really happening.

But I'll say it one more time - with the talent we have on this team, I see no reason why the game cannot be completed sooner rather than later.

I convinced a pal to play LBA Prequel, but he has never owned LBA1! (he will download the engine, that's not the problem)

Do you think it can become complication if a player for the first time is playing LBA Prequel before LBA1, or will it be even better since it's like LBA0?

Any comments of the order to play the games?
