Best album of 2005

So, half of the year has passed by. What is the best album that has been released in 2005 up to this point?

I must say that I personally think that Coldplay's X and Y is motherfucking awesome. It is, along with Oasis' Don't Believe The Truth (the best Oasis album since 1995), the best of this year. Among the others I can mention the Swedish group Kent's new album, and perhaps Bruce Springsteen's Devils and Dust and Bright Eyes' new album.

Has Anakin fallen off the limit? Just a question.

The only album released this year that I've listened to (I think) is X&Y, which is excellent.

Very good question. I'm not sure yet.. I think for last year it had to be Devendra Banhart's Nino Rojo.

Not sure. 2005 has been pretty dissapointing so far, especially in comparison with last year.

Best ones I've heard so far are British Sea Power - 'Open Season', and Wolf Parade - 'Apologies To The Queen Mary'

Does it matter? It was crap!

I like Royksopp's new album as well as Dream Theater's "Octavarium". Top stuff, that.
