Exclamation LBA 1/2 Translations...

This is the current status for the LBA 1/2 Translation - we have currently the following translations made:

- LBA 1 Hebrew
- LBA 1 Portuguese (Portugal)
- LBA 1 Portuguese (Brazil)
- LBA 1 Hungarian
- LBA 1 Polish
- LBA 1 Russian
- LBA 2 Hungarian
- LBA 2 Polish
- LBA 2 Russian

Coming soon:
- LBA 1 Slovenian
- LBA 2 Hebrew
- LBA 2 Porutuguese (Portugal)
- LBA 2 Slovenian

We need: Swedish*, Finnish, Danish*, Dutch*, Bulgarian*, etc.

* = Possible: Swedish: CrazyBee, Danish: DrSok, Dutch: El_Muerte/Wacko/Atresica/etc., Bulgarian: Horadrim.
I hope those will be done.

Aww... this is really old thread but still... I can try to translate with someone other finn... It is really good if we have finnish translated version! but I don't know how to translate... I have something problems with my english but there is english to finnish dictionaries... If someone knows other finn please tell me!

//EDITED!!! I am doing translation it is not too hard as I believe I think its harder if I trt to translate or write to English.

I don't think there are many native Romanians on the forum. The only thing possible would be doing the translation all by yourself.

My Afrikaans translation went onto a stand-still when all of my translation work just disappeared after I saved and exited.

And then afterwards OBras tells me that it happens sometimes.

It's restart it in the holidays coming up.

About the Swedish translation, I admit that I am a procrastinating, lazy guy of a Russian...

Anyway, I may not be a fully motivated translator nowadays but the good news is that ever since my graduation last summer, I'm getting bored more often (considering I don't have any real jobs or studies to get myself busy with). I've looked up to those old, old translated dialogue files of LBA 2 and continued a bit with those a week ago. I won't promise that I might work on them again very soon, because I can't always be so sure of myself.

To be honest I don't think many would prefer their own language over original English with voices. Perhaps if I get a child and I want it to learn to read, but that just ain't going to happen ...

But that's maybe just me, as I wouldn't play early Monkey Islands cause of no voices, I'm simply to lazy to read in adventure games

I just want to give some additional thoughts, that usually are good to think of before starting big projects

What happened was that I did some(Quite a bit, actually.) translation work, I saved it. Exited the program, and then when I went into LBA2 to view it, it was just blank, after which I discovered that it had just deleted everything I translated somehow.


Quite a large project indeed. But that's to the far future, and should I take it up most of the voicing would be done by my sister and me(With witty accents), with OBras and a couple of other members doing a few others.
