Relentless
![]() My ideas so far are these.... A short game based on the LBA franchise but on sticking to any rules other than that...... A new story with new characters.... with references to original characters of course but nothing to deeply connected, so thats theres lots of room to breath plot wise.... Hows about people.... ? Iain ![]() Ps i shall be posting my ideas plot-wise and general ideas so keep an eye-out in future..... |

With so much dead projects around, I guess all I can say is good luck.

I highly suggest taking a look at some other projects that have made some recent progress and try to contribute something to them rather than starting from scratch... As we all know too well here, projects don't usually get very far.

If you do anything, do a LBA1 mod based on the tools we have now.
Its the only way anything will be made.

Do everything yourself, don't tell anyone about it.
Keep it small. Use existing libraries/tools. Don't ask for a subforum. In short, do the opposite of what people tend to do here. It might work. |

hmm...
Well.... yes your all right. But am doing this one my way i think.... using naff, old and hard to use game engines that need so much stuff doing just to get them working on a modern computer is not my cup of tea. So scrap that straight off.
I would like some help with this, and would also like to help on any other projects that need some help too.... So far.... Not a lot. Just the plot, theme, some art work, some other writers helping (cos as you can tell by my spelling/grammar I'm not a really a writer) Iv got my self managing the project(being the LBA enthusiast), Two composers giving me very different cd's, from ultra acoustic(ambient Myst type music with sitars and wine glasses played backwards type stuff) and very indie/emo spacy stuff.... (hope there not offended) and a main-writer, an artist and thats about it Whether people want to help or not it's shaping up to be an emotional turning of age/saving the planet story.... Il copy up the plot so far later this week, but to be honest I will proberly scan it in tomorrow.... |

However of course it's that or any very easy game-maker program. Programming ones own 3D-engine for the very first time and expect quality is ridiculous.
