No, when you buy it rental they just hide the cost better
(you probably end up paying more)

The thing is, for under a $100, you can get a combined MP3 and CD player. For <$50 you can get an MP3 player.

If you just buy things seperately it is so much cheaper
And the products work better seperately.

well, that only stengthens my point that these things are rip-offs.

Things shouldnt cost so much more then the sum of their parts.

Most of these Nokia media centre things look ugly and are jerky, have crappy battery life, are expensive, and are a target to be stolen. (Noone steals old stuff )
Its just the principle. I mean, how many times do you use radio on your phone? I've had my new phone for about a month now and I've used the radio about 4 times. Theres other features which I haven't used. A prime example of this kinda stupidity is my friend. He bought the same phone that Vultures has, doesn't use the MP3 platyers, uses the radio occasionaly, and doesnt play games. He bought it cos its a "fashion accessory". Spending £200 for something futile like that is crazy. If placed with a choice over a new phone or a Gamecube or something, I'd get the cube. Spending more that £100 for a friggin phone is a joke. Especially since these newer phones have a tendancy to be badly built and to crash a lot.

Not to metion the shit everyone will be in when virus's take off on mobiles.
(Autodialing phonenumbers? voice spam? sim copying?)

I dont care what software protection they got, if its possible for the hardware to store data and run programs, its possible for virus's to be made.
And they will.

The NGAGE games are pants. Most games are really badly ported, and are just not playable. I tried to play Pandemonium at a Carphone Warehouse shop, and it crashed, on 4 different NGAGES. The phone is awfully slow, and its just bollocks.

If you wana waste your €300, be my guest lol, I couldn't give a rats arse less.
Just don't moan when you realise it sucks.

Note that if I buy this mobile phone, it was because it has an mp3 player and I'm always using it, everyday.
Before I had a basic mp3 player (Samsung Yepp) and every2-3days, I had to change the battery, and it cost a lot...
Now I just have to "reload" my mobile phone and it's good for 2days of intensive using.
Nokia's mobile phone has good battery life, compared to other mobile phone, there have a good place.

Since I now work at "Game" in Bristol, I got a pre-owned but mint condition Gameboy Advance SP for £45. Bargain.

Regards,
Morden

Today I've tested the N-GAGE, and play to Tomb raider.
And I think that GBA and this game on the N-GAGE have the same quality.
It was easy to play, for the one who knows Tomb raider I on PC, I've done the training in her house quickly...
But what I could see is that it's a lot bigger than my 3300...It's too big for a mobile phone, I admit it, but I keep a good impression of it...

Never felt the thing, so I cant tell.

Simple maths tells me its bad value.
And seeing how its used by others tells me its bad designed (sideways talking, chaging of sim car...i mean...games,low battary life ect ect).

And there isnt even any remotely interesting game to attract me too it.
