So Zelda is going to be delayed until summer or later of 2006, I see.

Just great. I wonder if it will end up being a Revolution game.

This is good news as far as I'm concerned. Everyone knows that Wind Waker was cut short by the fact that it was released to early, and OoT (imo the second best Zelda game ever) was in development for a long time. It's good to know that the game rather than the release date is being put first. I'm certainly in no rush to play a substandard Zelda game.

Well, I understand it will make it a better game, but they were talking of how it was nearly completed and released for Christmas 2005. But now, randomly, they have brought it back into development...I dunno. I mean, I love Zelda, but I'm tired of waiting, lol. I liked Wind Waker, but c'mon, this is going to be the *best* game since OoT, imho.

Besides, it'll be the first GCN game I've bought since...well...last Christmas.

Pfft someone's having a laugh there

Although Richard Simmons as Tingle would be interesting...

edit: JJ > OoT took something like 4 years though (I think), a while longer can't be bad, especially if it results in a more polished game.

WTF? 50 Cent as epona? Holy hell, I think the game already phailed.

Does this mean though that full voice acting, and no text (or subtitles with the voicing), will be in the new Zelda? Unprecedented for Zelda! Awesome!

No, anyone can submit any information to IMDB.
They also have false information about the planned Futurama tv-movies.

Zelda:TP, as coments by Nintendo and demos indicate, will maintain the tradiational "just grunts" sounds.

Personaly, I perfer that.
I dont think voiceacting will improve the game much.

But I am all for the full ocastra soundtrack

And I am also all for the delays....make it right, make it "the best game ever".
I can wait.

They should put "future-compatibility" into it for the revolution though.
Seeing as the Rev can play cube games anyway, it wouldnt be hard to make a few things for that wonderfull controller that is just begging to be used as a sword....

If I were a mod, I'd make a "The-big-fat-eternal-nintendo-we-already-this-thread-so-don't-bother-starting-another-one" thread, for all nintendo discussions.

Why not just make a nerd thread that everything can be dumped in?

Because that's too general?
(I.E. anime and hardware discussions in the same thread)

While a nintendo thread could work. just like we have a movie thread.

but we dont have a movie thread...we have a move trailer thread...which has stuck pretty ontopic...and we have a what-movie-have-you seen type thread which has also stuck on topic.
We offton have threads for individual movies too.

When I said movie thread I meant the last movie you saw thread, which works great.

Yes, there should be individual threads for big things, like the release of the rev.
But I think that it would be better to have a big nintendo thread instead of starting of a new thread for things like a zelda trailer.
