You know the problem is with lba remixes? I would be wonderfull to use the midi files from the game (lba 1 music is fully in midi) but there's only one channel for everything. I suposed Vachey mapped his keyboard so that octave 1 is a piano, and octave 2 contains drums or something...but when you want to make sense of it without knowing that, it's a real pain to use his midi files.

You can't make sense what is what instrument unless you know it by heart I supose.

U can use another program to make out the sounds it uses, i would go whit XG-Wizard as it is easy to use or maybe MIDI Maestro.

So can it make out what instruments play what tones, even if it is all one midi channel? Maybe I just don't understand the old midi setup, sine wingroove does know what note is what instrument...

I just open it and see one channel with everything put in there.

If its only one channel then it should only be one instrument, cus i have never heard of a midi whit more then one instrument on one channel.

Ah i found out what u mean by 1 channel, it is like that cus its an old midi file u can convert the file using Midi maestro to Format 1 and it should show all the channels.

Thanks I might try if the reason exporting of it updates it since I see the channels there.
I just wonder: Is there a way to tell what instrument should be playing i what channel? I mean; how does wingroove know what instrument should play what?
