Cheap 3D (legal) Software.

If anyone is interested in actualy owning some legal 3D software, Truespace 3 is at the amazingly affordable price of $49

Well, what is better for modelling(low-poly).
i think for high poly rhino3d rulez!
for low poly i use 3dmax, but few say truespace and milkshape are better.

Actualy I use Truespace for Low Poly work, I find it much faster then Max for that.
It has less features, but it polygon editting tools just seem to be soo much quicker to use then Maxs.

If you check out the feature list of Truespace3 you'll see its incredable value, allthough of course the later versions are better.

Indeed, Max is pretty overkill for low-poly work. I got the program off my uncle who's an architect (they get the program at their workplace.)

Truespace is pretty much the solution for modelling a inexpensive price
