Sure,I'll send it to you, but you have to cover the postage and packing (100,000GBP)

oh, BTW, the spaceport picture is showing exactly what Virgin has ordered;
2 WhiteKnight motherships, and 5 SpaceShipTwo's.

It's not really a roof, there's nothing in it except dirt, they'd destroy the cleanness of the concept too.

sure, but you can still fall off and go splat.
Be funny if going into space and back prooves pretty safe, but they get fatalities from people on that thing
Well, funny in a morbid way anyway.

Maybe they could plant a hedge at the edge?

Well I'm not 100% sure, but is this Virgin that was once owned and started by Richard Branson?

He wasn't really rich untill he gave Mike Oldfield the chance to record and bring out tubular bells as an album. It sold 16 million copies and launched the company Virgin from a small record company to the massive thing it's now.

Id feel safer going on this thing ten times then the shuttle once.
Both, of course, are dangerious.
But this is less explosive, and can glide back down at any stage something goes wrong.
The shuttle meanwhile, is a massively more powerfull machine, designed to blast stuff up with shear explosives, and is now many times past its designed life expectancy. I mean, for fucks sake, the designs blown up twice now and they are still using it.
SpaceShipTwo isnt going to be safe in absolute terms, but it will be safer, and lead the way to even safer ships. As with all exploration, the early stuff will be risky, but risk will reduce as technology and expirence increase's.

SpaceShipOne videos.

Very reminiscent of the first strides the Wright's Flyer did . Or Lindbergh.

Burt Rutan in Ted
(The brain behind the program)

Richard Branson: Life at 30,000 feet
(The wallet behind the program)

The promo trailer from Virgin Galactic's site, here

Also, there's the virgin babe I love their new design schemes, and the logo.

by the way:
I know I've seen that Virgin-Text on the eye somewhere else before
It might have been on an old Computer-Game-Case
has anyone of you seen it before too?

EDIT:
I found it
it was the developer of the Kellog's game I have played when I was young.

(look here for more info)

But what has this to do with the spaceship??

Virgin is a big franchise. It started with a records company I think.

In July 1997, both Electronic Arts and Virgin Interactive Software re-released LBA2 - Virgin Interactive Software doing so under the name of "Twinsen's Odyssey".

Virgin is a global mega corporation. They make everything from computer games to soft drinks to spaceships.
