Yeah, that ones great.
I love the lines about Mario2 being just a dream.

Fyi, Luigi's mansion was fantastic. Far better then the Mario game that generation.

Luigi ownz Mario.
But then, Yoshi ownz Luigi.
And Wario ownz both.
And Midna ownz absolutely everyone in the whole universe ever ever EVER.

I want a Midna game!

I always spelled Midna right. It sounds cool. Mid-na. Midna. It makes sense too.
Not like Lugia Lugui Lagui....the green guy.

Chaos - Midna is the companion charecter from twlight princess. Shes a ....umm....actualy, come to think of it, I have no idea what she is.

Seriously Axx, can't we just ask? Like "uhm, Fred, are you working on BG&E2 yes/no?".

Feel weird about this e3. Only really excited about Golden Sun and Red Steel.

I was so happy with Galaxy 2, yet when they showed it, I simply couldn't help thinking "DLC anyone?".

And what the hell was that about when they presented NSMBW as if they'd spent 14 years coming up with the fucking idea? Mario should have had 4-player co-op since the fucking SNES.

Metroid always sounds great, although I don't like Team Ninja and their products.

Uh and Assassin's Creed II, because the first one never bored me.

But in the end, it's only Red Steel 2 that I'm really happy about. It's as if that's the very first Wii game where they've taken the machine serious (besides Nintendo's own games).

EDIT: guess that's unfair, looking at Fragile and Crystal Chronicles.

Currently it's up to you. Find his email and ask him, shouldn't be that hard. (that concept of "he's way too important for me to talk with" is so wrong)

From my experience "important people" are usually glad when a fan contacts them.

CF: Nah, I just had the idea that it must be kinda freaky being contacted every so often from people still interested in something otherwise forgotten, you did some 14 years ago.... plus people mostly don't reply to emails if they don't know who you are.

Not true. It's not freaky, actually it can make your day (by "you" I mean the person being contacted).

Either way, you feel like ask him a question? Ask him a question! Worst case scenario, he'll ignore it.

Of course it's down, they're preparing to replace it with a new site now that LBA3 is going to be announced at E3.

edit: http://ludoid.fr/ still works... ...for now!

Yes, DLC would be much better.
Release it as eppisodes by difficulty, taking most of the assets off the disc.
Would be much better way to do it.

I know why they didnt though. DLC dosnt yet sale as much as retail.
Allthough, unless they do something major like this, it never well.

Anyway as long as it's not MGS4, I don't think the PS3 is officially useless. It will keep teasing me to buy it while I don't have any better reason other than MGS4.
It's going to multiplatform, which is a big win for Microsoft. However, Kojima isn't producing MGS:R, from what I've read he's busy with MGS:PW, so who knows how this Raiden chapter will turn out.

It's a big surprise, but I think Sony knew it was coming. The days of gaming exclusivity are (thankfully) almost over, imho. Everyone will be able to play great games.

On the plus side, Sony's conference was okayish, I was kind of disappointed that it seemed to focus more on the PSP than on the PS3. Kojima can't speak English, it was hilarious. And in general, the only thing I really was excited by was the motion controllers (meh) and Rockstar North's new title, Agent.

Exclusivity be with us awhile yet. Both Microsoft and Sony occasionaly pay shitloads for exclusive games. (or in microsofts case, even just download content).
Nintendo probably would too, only they are too stingy.

Hmz...seems miyamoto has some pet geo-location app for the ds;

Quote:
"I kind of had this idea that it'd be great if you could carry your Nintendo DS with you as you made your way around town to your daily activities." Basically, as you go through the city, you'd get details about the various areas you're in, including shopping centers, etc. This is an idea he's been interested in for a while and has started to employ some of it in Japan already.
Not a new idea...Android Phones and iPhones already do this, and in some case's very impressively (wikitude). But it would still be nice to see a ds do it.
Guess it will be japan only for awhile yet.

That new 2D Mario multiplayer game has 80 levels apparently. Pretty decent.
But still less then Mario Worlds.

Oh, and a new Wii Zelda is again confirmed;

Quote:
7:03 p.m.: Shows new illustration for the next Zelda for Wii. Nothing to show yet, but it shows an adult link. More grown up than ever before.

7:04 p.m.: "We'd like to make it compatible with Wii MotionPlus. It's quite possible it will be playable only with Wii MotionPlus."

7:05 p.m.: "Think of Zelda while you're trying some of the archery and sword play in Wii Sports Resort," Miyamoto say.

7:05 p.m.: "There are people who think of Zelda more as an RPG with simpler controls, so trying to figure out how to make everybody happy is something that's going to concern me," says Miyamoto.
a) I hate those people. Zelda is nothing like an RPG :P Zeldas about enviroment manipulation, not stat-building.

b) Definitely should be WiiMotionPlus only. Not just for swords, but for puzzles too. Zack&Wiki as inspiration for the puzzle style.

New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Nintendo acronyms get more and more hard to follow each generation.

They should fix those names anyway. Seriously, five words? Can't it be something better?
80 Levels sounds good. Though it still needs a level editor to be totally awesome.

Also, of course Zelda isn't an RPG! It's an action adventure! Was this Miyamoto saying it or their bad translation?

Phantom Hourgasss wasnt that bad, just the stupid bow and arrow bit was the only big bug/impossible bit. (which is particularly crawl to those of us that want every last heart piece )
Twlight Princess was perfect though. Played though, got all the hearts, no glitchs at all.

Well, he was saying that other people saw it that way.
So it might not have been a misstranslation, because a lot of people do refer to Zelda as an RPG.

Choas- what? :P
