English, yes.
Jodie Forrest.
Twinsen's actor has appeared in a few things too.

Okay, here is my sollution
I don't think such a table sorter should be database oriented yet, should it? If not, I have downloaded a javascript based one, and uploaded just right here:

<removed url>

If this looks usable, please upload the script to the MBN, I don't want references to this host.

Edit:
I forgot to mention. I did not touch the script in any way, it is SO easy to use, just an ID attribute and a script call after the table. What do you need more? Hmm, possibly some looks, but I could deal with that.

I think that's the exact same sorttable script I use :P

The advantage of moderator was it dealt with the submission/voting thing all for us, which this dosnt...we would have to manually add ideas. Which is fine, I guess, allthough I like the vote ability of moderator. I just wish it had more fields

Hmm, I forgot about voting. You do need a database then, pity.
I'll continue searching for a sollution, if you cannot figure out whether google moderator can be embedded here

Edit:
Man I already have found it right now. This might be just what you're looking for: a simple php voting system that requires no database nor configuration, only some folders and uploads. There is an explanation readme too. Shall I upload the zip here?

I would really like a decent custom skin for the MBN. A light and dark option. The ones we have now are just the default vb skin with a few colour changes. It doesnt even have to be custom, there are plenty of vbulletin skins on the net for around $20 which isn't that much. Thats all I want

I understand where you're coming from, but I stringly suggest to leave an option to choose the default skin; I think every visitor should have the option to dislike a skin chosen.

Couldn't we put these challenge pages inside the MBN? If we do sort out the littlebigadventure.com homepage then that can have a link to all these sorts of things. Or we can just make a little "game extras" site, shouldn't be too hard? I don't think we need to do anything clever with this, just a straight up list stating difficulty and rough time estimate of how long it will take and that sort of thing.

If you buy it I'm sure El won't mind uploading it.

Hmm, let me think.. The domain *could* be used for a simple homepage site mentioning some stuff we have here, but I think it should realy represent something more official, because we are the MBN, and not LBA.

As for these ideas we are making, I was pointing those for this homepage in the first place

Indeed.
Linking everything to forum threads comes across as messy and unprofessional imho.

Of course, we can still use the forum to gather stuff together.

I think discussing this in a thread will go nothing done, we need to gather a group of people and say "okay, this is the team", decide what needs to be done and who will do what, and talk about it all in more real time (i.e. messenger).

Feel free too.
I was just going to keep the first post of this thread updated with submissions on any of the topics raised. PM or post here with any progress made, or ideas for any of the facets at different times.

I think a lot on that list can be expanded just by doing a few searches or discussing ideas here.
Other things might be more suitable to be divided into a group for though.
I think the front/landing page will need a collective push, for example. littlebigadventure.com had lots of ideas discussed for it, but not much getting done.

I'd love to help but I really don't know how. I don't play LBA1/2 anymore so much, my english is pretty unprefessional and I don't know much about programming. Maybe I could help with graphics if littlebigadventure.com is made

If anybody is familiar with the MBN of LucasArts, a few years back they wrote up a 'Secret History' feature of every game they cover. Since they updated the website the articles are gone, but you can still see an example here. I've always thought something similar for LBA would be a good idea, a comprehensive document that can serve as an introduction or reference, interweaven with screenshots, interviews, links to relevant MBN threads and so on. I know the Twinsunica serves a similar purpose (or did) but the encyclopedic format isn't ideal in my opinion. Just a thought, anyway.

Whatever is done, I can and would gladly contribute (written) content.

This link (url removed) gave me a multiple warning from AVG, and consequently the webpage got completely blocked.

I don't know why it'd do that, it's just a Flash document reader.

I tried again and now Google Chrome warns me. This is really serious, not just me.

I added a screen of the page and warning, but unfortunately, I had set everything to Dutch on my pc so the text is too.

Dutch is close enough to English that I can decipher the text. It seems the error has something to do with 'breath conditioning'
I didn't make the page so I have no clue why it's doing that. Maybe turn off AVG? Attachment is a screenshot of the page.

I don't know what it is about. AVG warned me the first time about a double thread that wanted to install on my computer (one issue 2 times), and the second time I visited the page, Chrome responded by ALSO warning me not to continue. So really, there is something legitimately malicious in the content of that page. Maybe not directly, but associated with some of its resources.

The same thing happened to me, the error message from AVG being that it's an exploit link to an exploit site. Chrome is just refusing to show it.

That's right. I never install toolbars, in fact, according to my rule of thumb, EVERY toolbar is adware Not necessarily harmful, but adware nevertheless.
Besides, Ad-Aware and AVG are concurents to eachother (part of AVG), and I would suggest not to use different software for the same purpose.
