Alma is a simple and well animated short by Rodrigo Blaas. I found the story a little too predictable, but still well worth watching.

Riese is a online steampunk drama series.That in itself makes it pretty unique. Its well acted and with good production values. The world-buildingand the universe is good, allthough its hard to judge the ongoing plot yet.
5 eppisodes have been released, making up the first "chapter". (the rough equilivent of a single 42minuteshow).

After Judgement
Reviewed By Darkflame(Type - Webseries, CreatedBy - )

Hard to know what to make of this one yet.Its set on earth after a rapture-like event has taken place, and those left behind are immortal. (or, well, nearly).Told from many different viewpoints and over a few time-periods, its certainly very intriging.Unfortunately ;the shortness of the ;episodes, combined with seemingly a lot of rather pointless scenes makes it a bit hard to watch. I can ;appreciate ;atmosphere building/character ;moments and such in a 42minute ;episode, but when your ;episodes ;are 5 minutes each dead-weight just gets tedious.
After 15 ;episodes ;and the end of the first season, still hardly anything has happened, so despite the smartness of the setting and using some narrative ;technique's ;I like, its going to take a bit more substance before I ;wholeheartedly ;recomend this.
I havnt watched the "before judgement" sections yet, which might give me a bit more story to latch onto.

a rather silly, but quite watchable comady sci-fi.done in a pysdo-documentary style, it adapty ;describes ;itself as a cross between the office and star trek.the series mostly follows the events happening in the engine room of the ship and the general misfits running it. it makes a nice change to see a sci-fi mostly about the underlings and from this angle the series works quite well. ;id like to see a little more emphasis on the plots, however. and also a little more care with the special effects, which are sub-par compared to other webshows ;i've ;seen. hopefully it will continue to improve and end up quite a strong show.

Project X : The True Story Of Power Plant 67
Reviewed By Darkflame(Type - Webseries, CreatedBy - )

A deadly creature is on the loose at Mt. Diablo Power Plant!
Thats the concept, and with a concept like that I just had to watch. I'm not sure its fortunately or unfortunately that the excuation isn't nearly as cheesy as it sounds. Sure, you have electrical monster on the lose, trapped workers and a typical "who will survive" style storyline. But its still not as B-movie-ish as you'd expect. They try to flesh out the characters with flashbacks, and give a more subtle plot then you expect. I admire this, but I must admit I might have found it more entertaining if it was humouriously bad.
You see, while it does a good enough job with its story, It raised my expectations enough to expect a twist, or some neatness to the ending. Instead its played rather straight, thus I did feel a little disappointed.That said, its effects are done fairly well, with the monster-leaping looking particularly nice for such a low budget production. Its also finished, 24 parts all there for you to view online for free. And what's better then that?

That was nice. I didn't find it predictable, the cuteness of the animation and the happy music were the perfect contrast for the conclusion. It's more of a children's movie though, it would impress me a lot more if I was 6 years old.

While its hard to judge where it will go, I love the first short episodes of this.Its pretty much in the same feel as "Jekyll", blending a smart set up, sci-fi themes and good dialogue. It remains to be seen if it will be as smart as that miniseries, but its certainly on the right track.
I wont really summarise the plot itself, as you might as well just watch it as it. Its fairly short, and anything I say would just give away what little plot is shown so far.http://forewarnedfilms.com/

Just watched Doomsday Arcade up to episode 24. It's more than just funny, it's really really impressive, on all aspects. A lot more than most high budget films.

Michael Shanks is a genius. He wrote it, directed it, AND made the visual effects. And he's only 18

Doomsday Arcade epp24 (Final) - Ok, but a little disappointing. In trying to be epic I think they lost a lot of the humour. Pretty sure the much of the stuff about the "man upstairs" not being able to please anyone is a reference to Their Will Be Brawl's ending.

Anyway Need More Shows!

I found a site for legal torrent-distributed films;
http://vodo.net/film/allfilms

Theres also a show that wants to be distributed purely by torrents and paid for by donations;
http://www.pioneerone.tv/
They need $6000 for the first episode, of which they have $4000ish.

Pretty funny.
---

Sadly I'm almost at the end of http://loadingreadyrun.com/ I been watching their whole archive in order. Bloody brilliant.
Its just a nerdy sketch-show, and they do quite a few things. But I love the shear diversity of their work. Far FAR better then most TV sketch shows. Sure, a lot of it is hit-and-miss. But give me that over the mindless "template-repetition" you find on a lot of tv sketch's.
Also, as far as free and easy entertainment online goes, they sure supply a lot.

Ive only seen the first part, but it seems epicly fun. At least, for fans of that-guy-with-the-glass's.
Basically, "that guy" decides to invade Molasia. And the rest of the reviewers from various areas of site get conscripted up to help.

I love his "Go Nazi's" speech.

I think that I like most though is this is just a bunch of people having fun, running an independent site, and being successful at it. Celebrating with crazy anniversary specials like this is just the iceing on the cake.

I'm up to part five now (part six is out tomorrow). It's quite epic, sure it has many in-jokes but it's great humour and is well-written, it doesn't seem like a random fan service mishmash (like ScrewAttack's over-celebrated, okay-at-best "Metal Gear Ben").

I want a Kickassia DVD.

I loved the guy who was parodying himself (Film Brain, the "crazy Nostalgia Critic fanboy"). He's infamous on the site for being annoying, so he made himself even more annoying there.
