More deatiled yes, but the style is different.
I'd like all the trees to have the same style as the game. (shape and position of branches.

Using it as a transition is a good idea, but I'd like to try a 3D morph on the trees for the tranistion~and you have to really model from stratch for that one.

No,
I don't want stuff to just appear.
I'm going to try to do a complex morph scene, where all the plants and trees rapidly flower and grow.
In order to do this, I really need to model the trees myself.

Also, I don't want to use that tree because its not like the style in desert island. (note, style is different to looks~The ones in the film will be much better then the games DI trees).
Thanks to HS, we have managed to make models almost identical to how they are in the game. I'm making the layout of the maps match the game totatly as well.

In LBA1, the old man says he wants to grow flowers in the desert.

And after you gave him the flute and walk around in the area, the plants haven't changed except for added flowers. So imho, complex morphing animations wouldn't be neccesary, just the flowers to grow instantly, as shown in the movie sequence where you give him the flute.

At least, that would be the most equal to the game.

have leafs...

wacko- I think that was more for techincal reasons, then choice.
I'm not talking about a Genesis-Device style transformation here, the end result of the moprh will be just a few new flowers and plants.
I just wanted a time-lapse effect, instead of them just appearing.
