Umm, but don't the superstrings have a defined size?
I mean, I remember reading that they are too small for photons to probe, so that means they have a certain size, no?

They do have a size assigned to them, but as they are, partly by deffinition, the smallest possible thing ever...its not something you can ever check.
(impossible to get a microscope big enough to see that small...and light/radition would be useless anyway).

There is, supposidly, massive superstrings too...cosmic sized ones....but thats even more therorictal. (to do with membrain theorys and stuff)
