totally agree. I was probably around 6 or 7 when i first started playing. If i had to wait till i was 11 i probably wouldnt be here in this forum now.

EDIT: Im 16 now and if i was introduced to this game for the first time now, i would probaly bare no interest.

I first played it at my aunt and uncles house (which is a 5 hour drive from where i live) when i was very young and they died around 4 years ago so i have not been to thereh house since for obviouse reasons. So when i play the game i get the memories of being there then lol. GGood ol' memorys.

Woah guys, I was like 5 when I got LBA1, and I got LBA2 the day it came out so was that 1997? I would have been 7.

Also, I don't think I was really aware of the internet at that age, it was only just starting I suppose. Computers were for games.

Lol I cant really remember that much of it i dont know how i managed to play the game at 6. Lol i remember finding out how my friends were into lba-i was acting out the scene where the guard says "stop squirming prisoner twnisen" and one of my friends over heard me and went "wow youve got lba?" and thats how it all began. (you know how 6 year olds are). Do you know what else has a similar effect on me? Broken sword. That came out around the same time as lba but although in my opinion wasnt as good as lba, was more successfu. Broken sword 4 came out fairly recently. (sometime in 2006). Anyone ever played it?

Hmm the german version of LBA2 is for people above 12 because it says it makes you very addicted XD ( this is not a joke it's written in the manuals on the 1st page)

I played it with my father my brother and my sister (mom doesn't like games like that :-P ) so i was allowed to play it^^

Its only quick if yoi know how to do it. If it was your first time playing and you didnt use a walthrugh it would take you ages. For example: you probably wouldnt get the cherry syrup at the start of the game, you would have to come back and get it. Temple of buu would be really difficult aswell.

Yeah, just reaching the tickets office in Principal Island is annoying enough.

The whole harbour area is really annoying to get around, it's probably the best guarded area in the game. Especially that little covering with all the guards standing in, when you go through there and you can't even see where you are!

Yep.

I feel old... I played the original when I was like 10... I think it was in the EA classics box and I'd never heard of it before... but I loved it, then I got LBA2 on the release day... after visiting the game shop every day for 2 weeks asking if it was released yet
