Zoe Help, Lba2 beta under XP

Hey, I'm trying to run a Lba2 beta under XP. Its a beta from Feb 97, the disc has a logo saying "LBA II" instead of lba2 and wildly different artwork than the final version.
So anyway, funnyfrog patch doesn't work, maybe a prepatched executable would but I have no idea where to find it.
Please help

Funnyfrog's patch should work with any versions of the game - I can confirm it works with the officially released Demo version of the game. If the patch doesn't work for your Beta, then the executable is most likely different - so finding a patched one probably wouldn't work. You have to try to run the game in DosBox.

Also, as Quetch said, we'd be interested in seeing that beta, if you could somehow upload it, that would be great.

It's very clear the demo .exe file is not the same as the LBA2 game's .exe

So we're in need of a FunnyFrog's LBA II patch

- LtDemolition: Well, I have the April 1997 Release Candidate 1 of LBA 2, and its executable file is really the same, as that of the U.S. version. The one of lbaguy3d's March 1997 Beta is slightly smalle, but the patch works with it. The one of the demo is different, due to the imposed limitations. However, given, that FrunnyFrog's patch doesn't work with AneX's February 1997 Beta, this means, that it IS different.

Nope. We've heard about people "having" the beta version a lot of times, but nobody ever showed up again to show it to us properly. Why should we be excited if the user who started this thread never showed up again?

Well, I emailed Sebastién about this, and he said those pictures were indeed from a work-in-progress version, but he said it was never released, so nobody apart from the old Adeline team can have it.
