Word of caution, beta testing games isn't as fun as it sounds.

Yeah, he probably knew this would happen...

If you squint a little it almost looks like it says Little Big Adventure 3 under 'est inscrit'!

I do find it a bit coincidental that the slate is so similar to LBA's. I can't believe they just randomly chose that design, certainly those who know of Fred know of LBA.

Fingers crossed this is LBA related, but more likely it's like someone else mentioned...that Ubisoft stuff that had previously been discussed.

Who ever said ubisoft project wasn't lba3? The slate is unmistakable, fred knows this, we know this, and he knows we know this! So he may be leaving a hint that only we understand, he may have accidently chose the image of the slate, or he may be playing a cruel joke!

Like I said, I'm sure it was deliberate to excite us here. But Axx, inquire!

The "map recorder" is called "the magic slate".

How about http://ludoid.com/ ?

This is SO going to be LBA3. Shun the non-believer.

I really feel this is a riddle we can already solve, not having to wait until 2010 ... it's like a freaking riddle from a point 'n' click adventure game

What's a fact is that we're the only people who even know of that site. You can't even find it in the top 30 results if you google for "Ludoid".

I hope it's LBA3 but I highly doubt it is. By the way, is the company called Ludoïd or Ludoďd? Because the page title says Ludoďd and the text "Ludoďd EURL" is written on the bottom of the page.

Time Commando has a little toy that makes an appearance in LBA2's cutscene intro.
Twinsen's Odyssey did not turn out to be Time Commando 2.

A slate similar from an LBA game doesn't mean this is going to be a sequel for it.
Having said that it's good to see Fred making progress in the Industry.

"FORTHCOMING in 2010"
Does that means we're going to know the name of the game in 2010 or the game's gonna be released in 2010¿?

and the dude that wrote before me..
i think you're ignoring the fact that some people have been insisting on a sequel..
plus he said slate.. he didnt say board or picture or anything else
don't know, too many coincidences..

anyway someone should ask him directly..

bye bye

All other dates on the site are the release dates, so why should this be different.

Surely it would have been announced on E3, not least for hype purposes if it was to be released in 2010. Out of curiosity, what happens if you use a model viewer to look at the back of the slate? Images of maps stored by the slate? I know, hopeful, but none the less entertaining (not least for fred who will laugh at our sorry state)

'The name of the next game is on the back of the slate!'

'The', not 'this'. Unless Google messed it up.

EDIT: Aww. Just the word 'cette' is translated to This - Google never messes up single-word translations.

i would like to sign up too,
but it's like a bit too far to get to paris, or even learning french xD
i'm somewhat excited too... because of the suppositional clues for lba3 ...
thi = third... slate ... omg x)

back to reality... either way i don't think it'll be lba3.
and i wouldn't think they could have inspired ubisoft already for publishing it...

I guess it was a horse...

Anyway, if it's the slate, why would it have a hole ?

EDIT : I found this on wikipedia :

Games designed by Frédérick Raynal
As Consultant

Why is it referred here as TBA ?
