Yes, everyone, who agrees with me, must be my sock-puppet. Yes, way to go, with this Silvio Berlusconi-like reasoning, LOL. He always says, that whoever doesn't agree with him, must be a left-wing communist. Here, whoever doesn't agree with the #LBA elite, must be a sock-puppet of mine. Yes, how mature.

- elmuerte: If you pay too much for the hosting, I'd suggest you to have a look at the plans, offered by www.aruba.it hosting, un-limited band-widt, and web-space, for only €70 a year.

BTW, phpBB 3 has a shit-load of skins available, all for free, and you can even ask me to make one for you (I have experience with phpBB 2, and 3, MODs, and skins), if you need a custom one, for free, of course. Not to even mention, that phpBB 3 has live IRC support option, which vBulletin certainly lacks.

Then how about a public poll?

- Kobold: We know, who voted. My friends did. There's no doubt about that. I just have problems with the fact, that they're called my sock-puppets, when they're just my real-life, or internet, or both, friends. So, the problem here isn't establishing, WHO voted, but what the people consider those, who voted, to be.

I don't want a piece of shit webhost that oversells, has crappy support, and is in general unreliable. The MBN is fine where it is, I have full control over the system, and everything it does. That's because it is partially my own hardware.

What exactly is your problem with MBN's forum software? and or it's hosting? As far as I know everybody else it happy with it as it is.

Well they are basiclly sock-puppets anyway since they vote for whatever you tell them to vote on and are not part of the community, i still don't see how you can continue to use these people and/or proxy puppets and somehow think you can convince us they are legitimate when they follow your agenda right down to the core. Whatever respect and trust most people had for you is long gone.

And your not doing some kind of coup by using these people to spice up polls, this is not politics or a sock puppet democracy, this is a forum, when you play with polls it either does:
1. Totally discredits the result which is obviously rigged.
2. Ruins the fun for everyone (read wrestlefest)

I have respect for Obras, it's just that some people just don't know much about socializing (and I include myself in that group)... Just need to be less arrogant and be willing to learn...

Seeing as we can already set it to our local time, I'm guessing he means putting the Month before the day or the day before the month

I read that, but I don't see that as a major issue or a problem warranting to changing software.

in phpBB you can basically set the format of the php function date(), but that's not particularly useful and perhaps too powerful for (I'm guessing) 99% of MBN's visitors.

I've been using all the free forum softwares and I just started using vB 3.8.4 and I must say that there is NO other forum software that can compete. phpBB was a load of fail for me and was a pain to use.

I support El's decision to stay with vB.

@ JJ - Here's the list of features

"I'm your top prime cut of meat, I'm your choice,
I wanna be elected,
I'm your yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls Royce,
I wanna be elected,
Kids want a savior, don't need a fake,
I wanna be elected,
We're all gonna rock to the rules that I make,
I wanna be elected, elected, elected.

I never lied to you, I've always been cool,
I wanna be elected,
I gotta get the vote, and I told you 'bout school,
I wanna be elected, elected, elected,
Hallelujah, I wanna be selected,
Everyone in the Magicball Network Forums.

We're gonna win this one, take the forum by storm,
We're gonna be elected,
You and me together, young and strong,
We're gonna be elected, elected, elected,
Respected, selected, call collected,
I wanna be elected, elected.

And if I am elected
I promise the formation of a new party
A third party, the Wild Party!
I know we have problems,
We got problems right here in "Off-topic",
We have problems on the North, South, East and West,
Main Forums, Fan Creations, LBA Projects, Administration,
LBA Modifications, Roofles Den,
Everybody has problems,
And personally, I don't care."

- Elected, by Alice Cooper. (MBN remix)

I know I'm gonna get sued for this.

This.

El doesn't really need to lost money so we can talk nonsense all day. But he does it anyways.

Be happy with what you already have Obras, I mean "Battler".

And yeah, VBulletin is the best forum software that I know of, imho.

I think the same. I find VBulletin the most convenient software than the dodgy but still good phpBB (I hate to pronounce that every time I read).

Obras, I for one believe you when you say you didn't sock puppet the votes and when you say you got your friends to vote.

However, your friends have nothing to do with this forum, and getting them to vote for something they take no part in, is just as bad as having sockpuppets do your dirty work for you. Nobody gives a crap about the opinions of people who don't take part or contribute to this forum. Especially ones that come from a forum where the rules seem to have been put in by Stalin himself.

It's one thing to suggest a change, and another to insist on it, and get angry when your idea is rejected, for reasons you alone fail to understand.

And for the record, 50 cent is shit, and thats also the only thing that comes out of his mouth . Give Illumina the mic, or at least get him his own studio for producing
