Yes!
http://lba.fishos.cc/bit/sets.html a list of fan-made translations (my old site, maybe there are more that aren't there)...maybe they can be included in an LBA re-release. (?) Hebrew was very tricky to implant, Zink and Obras did some hardcore programming job to help us out. (thanks again!)

I think I'll have some time to make a Hebrew translation for Boxon over the weekend

Found a inconsistency with the BACK button/Esc.
All sub-menus have it: but its not there in the Language Screen.

I just noticed that there's no German version available yet.
I quickly did a translation but I would recommend e.g. Kobold to have a look at it especially the Tutorial Parts (I'm not sure about using the more polite/formal "Sie"-form).

Amazing little game! Thanks for creating it. I made a Hungarian translation, which I attached to my post. Neither fonts display the two special Hungarian letters (ő and ű) correctly, ő shows as õ and ű as û.

I just fixed the Chinese translation to fit into the screen.
I'll try to find another free font that looks more like the original font (unfortunately all good looking Chinese fonts are pretty expensive).

I eventually finished level 5, it was not that hard after all.
Oh, and I just discovered the menu can be "played" ! Fun !

It is very rewarding to see my translation in the game! Neat.
However, it is important to note that the flag should be something like this (this is the official flag for portuguese languages, taken from wikipedia). If not desired to divide the flag, then it is preferable to leave only a brazillian flag as I cannot be 100% sure the european portuguese is the same, although it'd be understandable.

I also noticed that there's a language called nederlands - it should be Dutch, no?

Link: It's fun to play with the menu - didn't know this, nice catch!

Apart from Polish all languages are named in their own language.
Should be Ploski(?) rather then the others adjusting it.
So Nederlands is correct.

The English translation on the website says the aim of the game is to "clean the brothel".
This was probably already mentioned but I didn't feel like checking 5 pages to find out.

@Kasia:

I'm trying the game on an XP computer, but I can't run it ! "divide by 0" error just after the flags choice.
I know, it's not the bug you have, but before i must fix this one

I'm the only one to encounter this bug on XP ?

@Koldon:

I hope you'll find a solution with Wine, because my Kubuntu computer just decided to not boot any more after a lot of updates. It means I will not be able to continue Linux tests until I reinstall or fix it. As I told you, I don't want to spent too much time on this version, so I guess you have to wait. Sorry.

I've just downloaded the "languages test" version and it worked fine until I changed the language to Polish and clicked on "zasady" (= "rules") - the game crashed then.
I've tried to repeat it a few times, but now everything's OK.

(+ Polish translation is hard to read in some parts, because the specific letters aren't working [as Jasiek has already said]).

the game works fine on Win7 64bit. (francaise/english version). it's awesome made. the tutorial isn't too long and nice to watch, the gameplay is something new to me, awesome. but i think i couldn't motivate myself to go through 553 levels.

New version

Hi, I uploaded a new lite version:
+Mouseover sound in levels list screen
(interesting effects with a lot of scrolling levels...)

+switch from DX7 to DX9 driver for better perf under XP
Kasia, does it solve your issue ?

+Added all languages files to check missing letters with the original font
I think I'll make one version with the original font and all working languages with this font, and several dedicated versions with one special font which is fine for one language (or several if "compatible")

+Fixed a "divide by 0" error if the computer was ON for more than 25 days...

Todo
Add a version number on screen...

Warning: Unless you manually updated the language files and flags, you need to delete them before running the new version to be sure to have the new files applied.
Delete bOxOn_text_??.txt and all *.png files

Every deleted file will actually be created back with their (new) default state.

By the way:
if you delete: bOxOn_Undo.bin, you lose the current game if any (LAST icon)
if you delete: bOxOn_User_Profile.txt, you lose your current Style setting and some not mandatory information about your configuration, last game and total play time (never used by the program, just for info). You can Edit this configuration file to tweak some display parameters.
If you delete: bOxOn_Best_Scores.bin, you lose all your scores. All levels will then be considered never done. That is the most precious file.

The language_test version contains the Chinese font. But as this font contains a lot of occidental characters I hoped that they were all here

Sadly the original font doesn't seem to have all Polish characters
Depending on how many characters are missing, I might think of adding them one by one to keep the original font style (Link, don't dream )

There were 3 Lines that didn't fit the new Font in the German translation.
The corrected file is attached.

Actually I think it's possible to merge fonts, found someone who did it while searching on google. Maybe it would be possible to have one single font for everyone like that.

Nice, I would consider adding the BACK button/ESC to the Language Menu... It's the only screen in all of the game that does not let you end it with pressing ESC.

Yes I know... but as this screen is first intended to be a startup screen (with some stuff not yet loaded) it doesn't have a back button and is a little bit different than other screens. In my menu system I call the same screen... Obviously I can add the back/escape stuff by cheating... OK don't push me too much
