Yes, I usually don't like puzzle games that much, but I spent a lot of time on this one, and I must admit it was very fun.

Yes, but then the font file will be huge. the .exe file is already 9 mega bytes bigger with chinese characters. It's a third bigger (can I say it like this ? I meant 33% more).

I'll first have a look to some ttf font editor. I believe most missing characters are composition from already existing chars ?
Kasia, what are the 8 missings Polish chars ?

I prefer to generate dedicated versions. (Until the registration system becomes a nightmare, then I will modify my language system to handle dedicated font as are the flags right now... )

This back icon, It's a meaningless detail, but I like consistent mechanisms, he pointed out something I knew, but it was part of all those little things that you know you still have to do better but that got a very low place in your priority stack. You can always make a game better and never release it, but you can make a good game when you know when to say stop.
In that particular case, we're not talking about the game, just a silly detail that only took me five minutes to fix. It worth a joke.

Or these:

http://polish.typeit.org/

If you can't see what Kasia wrote .

The Coding for Czech, Polish and Hungarian characters is Central European ISO-8859-2

I think.

I translated to Hebrew (without inverting right-to-left), but there's no Hebrew font so it just shows all blank letters.

Better use UTF-8 which supports every character set in the world.

Yes UTF8 is the way to go.

The Polish text file is not in this format ! I 'm trying a lot of universal font, and the Polish text is always wrong, until I check the file. It is in ascii. You should save the text in UTF8 format. Windows Notepad should be fine for that task.
Can someone edit it please ?

Hebrew is nice to look at, but I can't tell if it should be reversed or not... looks like Chinese to me

I'll update a version with an Universal font, so you should all find your characters !

I just have a doubt because in the Credits you changed the ï of Ludoïd to a character like a d with ¨ (I saw it in Notepad) but it was display d' on screen with both fonts ???
I put it back to ï but I might be wrong . Tell me... when next version will be uploaded.

Thank you very much to all of you for your help !
I very happy to do this with you

Oups sorry, I didn't implement your file in the last build of bOxOn_lite_Universal.exe.
It will be on the next regular version in a few hours.
But you will still be able to see it if you add manually your txt file and the flag (joined) in the dedicated directory.

by the way this version is on the website, i'll add the link on the web page later.

Must've been a mistake - or something to do with the wrong coding - weird too since the Ubuntu gedit editor should've saved it in utf8 on default

Btw. I also changed UNDO to COFNIJ - the Polish equivalent, but I noticed the text on the button won't change, so I think this should be changed back to UNDO?

I'm afraid it can be a memory issue with this big font.

I've just uploaded the last version of bOxOn_lite.exe with the bOxOn font.
Sorry no Chinese or Hebrew in this version.

(just for those who can be interested: the program scans bOxOn_text_*.txt, checks if the file is a boxon language file, try to load the mentioned flag, and checks the lenght (>0) in pixels of the name as if it was displayed with the current font, then display the resulting flags. So then I just have to change the font and have the handled languages automaticaly validated at run time. But the font is embeded, so the next step will be to just look if an overriding font is put in the user directory, so I'll have just one version that anyone can upgrade with the font of their choice...)

With large fonts isnt there some software that can scan a paragraph of text and only embed what you need from it in a fresh font file?
I know flash does something like this for its size-optimization, so it should be possible.

No! Honestly, it's not my intention to change the name of Ludoïd.
(even though it sounds a bit funny for me, because "Ludoïd" looks pretty similar to a Polish word "Ludojad", which in colloquial language means cannibal )
