OK if it's in LBA I will not do it, it's a question of respect

No, seriously, it means too much work to make it nicely (and clipping with scaled display got some bugs on some video card as you could have see). I'm trying to just use the smaller font in case of emergency. I'll also try to scale the font display, may be just on X...

I'll upload a version with the first test (or the second depending on life) tonight.

New Lite version 1.2.3

Hi,

So, if a text is larger than the 4 boxonites width of a menu entry, it is scaled down along X axis to fit it. It looks like ok, tell me. I also applied that for texts displayed on small levels (in the levels list) like "time", "best time".

As the news about bOxOn are spreading fast, the website will be public by the end of the week.

Fred.

In the Dutch translation, options > Display > Screen > "Windowed" button text could be changed from "In Raam" into "In Venster"

A "raam" in Dutch, is actually the glass panel in a wall, but we mean the OS displayarea, which is called "venster" translated from "window".

Second, I think "Rules" could be changed into "Instructions" or "Tutorial" in all translations

Words come in all sizes. But even if they fit you,
they might not come at appropriate times.

Good for everyone is finding yourself first,
and then the good in others second.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy with uni. Edited it a bit so that there are shorter words...

Finally there's also a new German language file.
I added the new sentences and modified the Tutorial a bit.
As the name "Boxonites" sounds very odd in German I didn't add that.
If that's ok it could be replaced with "Boxons".

Do you want us to also translate the website to other languages? I'd be glad to translate it into Hungarian (only when the English version is finished of course, since I don't speak French).

Yeah... I can help translating the website to Italian! I could also help with Spanish, but I'm sure RGaspar will show up soon

Thanks, that is indeed more fitting.

Puristicly raam describes frame not the glass. However it's indeed commonly used to refer to glass.
And venster is indeed beter.

Yes, I did hesitate with my definition, however, I merely tried to point out raam meant something completely different as the intention of the word.

But about the boxonites not being matched against their buttons in the menus, is that goiing to be changed? Like, unmessing them up, or in fact messing them all up? Now that you can click/tab on them it won't have to be tidied up, however it does look better if so, I think.

Venster and raam are pretty much synonyms. Frame, kader, lijst, venster, raam, ... But yeah not relevant now, since in User Interfaces venster is indeed the most common dutch word for it.
I didn't think about it cause all my programs are in english. (Makes it a lot more easy to get help online if you use english programs. )

As far as I have seen the Dutch words all fit. And I read there is the plan to scale the words that are too big.

Nah I mean the boxonites with different colors, next to the menu buttons in the Options>Display>Screen menu. They don't match. I couldn't make out what's goiing to be done about this.

It's implemented in the last downloadable lite version. I like it, if the text is not twice the size, it nicely fits with almost unnoticeable shrink.

As I said, I thought I could mess up all single boxonites of the menu. Their location on screen is set by hand, it's not automatic. So the 2 inverted boxonites in options/screen are meant to be like this. It's a kind of souvenir from the first version where it was a puzzle to manipulate menus.
I might bring back the mess in a next version, but for now I'm focused on the release.

The web page will go public today. The Paypal system is working great (at least for normal order cases...)

Is there some Mac users here ?
or Mac developpers ?

There is a lite version ready to test, but I never released a Mac game, so I'm not sure if I did everything correctly.

bOxOn web page is public

bOxOn web page opened !

No more password needed. (can it be modified on the first post, please ? )

I know English page is not here, but as the news are yet more French than
other languages, I can't miss that opportunity.

New versions with enhanced texts or bug fixes will be released as they come.

Wait a little bit more for spreading the news, just it case something went wrong.

Thank you,
Fred.

No it is not, the webpage's filename is case-sensitive, I think maybe morshem forgot that. The Os need to be capitalized.
This is the right link:

I'm using a mac, I can test that version if you like.

Also if you would like an English page written I could do that too, if you tell me just basically what it needs to say of course.
