I did it! I have proof that the northern hemisphere has been available in LBA 2 all along!

Look, I'm near Fortress Island:

So, you climbed the himalayan mountain, jumped out of it to the ocean and then got dragged that far by the waves? And how did you not drown (I mean, Twinsen can't swin)?

Now seriously, how did you get the holomap bugged? :P

You're too good at this.

Here's the real, unedited screenshot and the location it was taken from. Apparently the game shows this holomap position whenever you are outside of an actual scene.

The Twinsuniverse is still in development at the moment, but as soon as it supports a bugs listing, I will!

Well, there is a Northern Hemisphere area referenced in the LBA 2 code and files, but missing its .ILE and .OBL files (as well as the Island-specific Holomap picture), and that's the Well of Sendell. I started a thread about it here, and I tried to re-add it into the game by making .ILE and .OBL files based on Celeberation Island for it, but then I got stuck because I haven't been able to make the scene change zone work. Maybe when Zink's program comes out, I can actually see what goes on there.

Maybe this is all an easter egg, and in there we could find When LBA3 would be released. But no one ever found out about this b4, so now its too late because we kinda know when it is going to be.

It's not an easter egg though, the creators of the game wanted to add the Well of Sendell to the game as an area to go to, but due to time constraints they had to limit the gameplay over there. That's why it is merely mentioned by means of stills during a dialogue between Twinsen and Sendell, and no actual physical island or anything on the navigable map.

But I bet they'll give it a nice return in LBA3.

I think it will be possible, but what's the point of that? The only thing that we can see "going on there" is what we put it there. There is no original data for that zone, apart from the holomap location name.

With "going on there", I mean, going on in the outside scene I'm trying to modify to add in a change cube zone to take you to the Well of Sendell. Specifically, why the zones placed by Adeline all work, while the one I add behaves as if it isn't even there.

What about the runtime? Are you sure your modifications are processed when they are supposed to?
