320x240 version of LBA1

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it's possible to hack LBA1 into running at 320x240?

I've just bought a GP2X Wiz and the reason LBA doesn't work properly under DosBox is due to the resolution.

It would be beyond awesome to have a portable LBA.

Nice to see you man

I think it's possible to set the DOSbox resolution in the dosbox.conf file or something like that...

We can indeed test it, although all images are in 640x480.

Haha, yeah I'm still a regular here I just don't post very often anymore - too much uni work and all that. Good to see posters here from nearly ten years ago

Alexfont - when you say we can test it, how do we go about doing that? Is it possible to resize the images or is that a gargantuan task?

Well, it's actually possible to play in 320x200, just press F5. I think playing in 320x240 can also be made possible somehow.

Yeah F5 just zooms in but maintains resolution.

I think I'm in a bit over my head here - I can't even get a menu screen using DOSbox. I've used PSX4all to try and emulate the psx version but I only have half a screen and then a crash.

The TwinEngine looks like a promising start to maybe port it?

You could always try dxwind (I think that was how it's spelt), that's a good alternative if you're having too much trouble with DOSbox.
