Erff... I really hope Didier won't read this thread.

I don't see the point about "hot anthropomorphic furries" when the picture at the beginning of this thread shows a skimpily dressed bunny girl.

Take an pause on SL and let's focus on LBA...

Coming back to MBN to indulge myself with new LBA 3 artworks is a choice I never regret. Awesome!

Indeed, nice images .

As for the sphero, as far as I remember that sphero in the Temple of Bu referred to the grobo as his father.

Nice !

Without knowing the Atari games, I would say that ping is simply written there to avoid saying pong, ping doesn't mean anything in french, it's a word to describe a sound, quite the same as pong. (Table tennis is also called ping pong.)

Sorry not to be able to say more. the negotiations are ongoing.

So:
An official announcement from Fred and Didier about LBA3, coming this autumn!
LBA3 is planned to begin development in end 2012! (co-indecently, that's the same time the world is planned to end)
There will be no LBA4.

"Final"? I don't get that. In all honesty, I'd think they'd have to go with a series reboot, but regardless, this is one of those series that I think a new game could bring life back into the genre.

Maybe if LBA3 will be a huge success they won't be able to resist making an LBA4.

Why did you ommit the part where he says "... this was only made possible due to a certain Moises Monsalve who contacted us recently..." ?

Isn't a bit early for April's fool??

I won't believe it 'till I see the official annoucement or something.

It's just....too good to be true

And I've been deceived in the past.

PS: Fred's dates always miss the target, so I guess we won't get any announcement this year, but early next year instead ;P

LOL, don't get worked up about it.

I have less faith in them (the LBA team) than you, in fact.

I still remember how, reading between the lines, it seemed like they'd start working on LBA3 right around 2009.

And, judging by the 2006 chat with Fred Raynal, one could think they were just about to get started with it.

But they didn't. Multiple times.

(And the fact that the last couple of Raynal works were either canceled or had poor sales doesn't help either).

So, if it happens happens and it will be like the best day of my whole gaming life. But if it doesn't, at least I didn't get all excited about nothing.

Waiting for autumn, just in case.
