I do exactly, what you told me to do, but when I click Load Data, it says to me "Parameter not correct", and furthermore, in Portuguese, "O parametro não é correcto". Got it now?

I'm sorry, I don't know what it could be. This must be a Windows' information, because I didn't put in the prog any information like this one.

Although, it may be a memory problem, the programme needs about 100MB of free RAM to work properly.

Or just wait a couple of days (I don't know how many, really) until I release next version with significantly decreased memory usage and time-to-wait.

- Zink: currently, I have 228 MB free, so it's certainly not a memory problem.

- Zink, sorry I was wrong. Load Data is done correctly. But then, when I click Draw Room, it displays a message "O parâmetro é incorrecto" ("The parameter is not correct"). That's it.

I'm sorry, but the next version release date may be postponed because I have serious problems with my hard disk. I can't be sure anything for now, it may be some days, but also some weeks.
The new version is almost finished, so it should be rather some days, but I don't know what else will happen to this disk (I don't have another one, so I have to work with this one now, and this one seems to have physical problems. I don't know if I will even manage to install Delphi on it).

what does scandisk/chkdisk say?

If its just installation theres a few windows bugs which can cause it.

I'm sure it is not Window's problem. It seems to have some weird bad sector. Weird because it is not detected by ndd (I didn't try ScanDisk), but when I run SMART tests in Easy Recovery, it returns alerts.
Anyway, the disk has guarantee, so I will go to the service tomorrow, I don't know how long they will keep it. Maybe I will have replacement disk, but it is not for sure.

- Zink: if NDD doesn't detect a bad sector, then it simply isn't there. ScanDisk usually detects even less bad sectors than NDD. Sorry. I don't know, what it could be.

But I know what it can be

I tested it with Seagate programme and it reports bad sector.

Seagate program... hmmm... "bad sector" can also mean "bad number of sector specified for file".

No, bad sector means a sector that is physically broken.

- Zink: Or logically marked as a "bad sector". Use PCTOOLS's DISKFIX.EXE program (note: for DOS). I mean, use version 8.22e of it (Win32 DOS Console version, has FAT32 support). It will certainly fix it. You find it here (the link might, of course, be broken): http://www.centralpoint.com/download/pct822e.exe. NOTE: It's legal to put this link, because that version is Shareware.

Version 0.02 released! (Link in my sig)

Now official programme name is Little Big Architect (it can still change).

I managed to finish next version of of it before I go. I will be out for a couple of days (I leave tomorrow), so I will not be able to post during that time.

Changes:
- almost all code have been rewritten,
- a lot of visual changes,
- different opening way,
- should now work under Windows 98.

O_Brasileiro: Now I know what your problem was. I suspect you have Windows 98, right? It has weird memory management. You can have a lot of free memory, but you may run out of system resources (this "Parameter is incorrect" message), I don't know why. I have tested it on Win 98 and it should work fine now.

O_Brasileiro (the second thing): thanks, but I am sure that it's not only marked as bad, because a programme downloaded from Segate website said that only low-level formatting would be probably able to fix it. Tomorrow I am taking it to the service, I will wait for their opinion. BTW: The link is broken, this server doesn't exits.

- Zink: I also know that link, posted by OBras. Actually, it's an old link, which stopped working in the middle 1999. Maybe he got the link on an old site, but, as he didn't try to download it, he didn't know much about it. But, he said:

- kakadudu: Well... this version works now (I actually use Continental Porutugese Windows 98 SE). Also, about the link, I told you, that it might be broken (I know that it's already old). So... we're friends again, aren't we?

Hi everybody!

I would like to announce (yes, with proud of course ) that LBArchitect v 0.03 can now EDIT files!

Check it out and tell me what do you think.

Single grid files now should have extensions .gr1 and .gr2 because distinguishing LBA 1 type from 2 turned out to be impossible. LBA Package Editor v 0.08b can now unpacks these files with appropriate extensions.

BTW, I made some in-game screenshots of edited files:
