Just divide the file in two with this: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...plitting.shtml and upload them seperatly to megaupload

In the settings when you're compressing the file, you can have the choice to split the rar archive over 2 or more files.

With rar you can put in the split field, the amount of bytes you want it to split into different parts. You have pre-defined values, like Zip 100Mb if you want, other wise, you can split it to 260000000 for example.

Hey!
After alot of research on the net, I got LBA working on my PSP.
Alot of games with issues have to be labeled with the SLPS 01222 ID when converting the bin file in popstation.
Then put the EBOOT.PBP file and the KEYS.BIN file in a folder named SLES00698 and put it in the PSP/GAME directory.

It works. No black background anymore.
I'm using the 3.52 M33 firmware. And if there's any glitches, they may be gone if I upgrade to 3.71.

The game slows down a little bit when there's voice acting going on, plus the background music drops out when people talk.
Some strange smaller black fields appear when picture is moving, but nothing big, you wont notice much of it.
Would also recommend using controller Type 2. It's a little easier using just athletic and aggressive on the shoulders instead of letting go of the direction keys just to change modes with the analog stick.
Since the the O button is ACTION in all modes, you won't be needing NORMAL and DISCREET much.
Also change screen mode to Fullscreen.

It seams we need to get the right poploader to make it run.

Goofy, can you tell me if your m33 firmware have the 3.51 or 3.52 poploader?!

I couldn't emulate different poploaders yet but this could be the key to play well LBA1.

Btw, I can get LBA to work much faster than yours, with few loading times in my slim, but still, no scenario backgrounds

I don't know wich poploader that is in the 3.52 M33 firmware, actually I've changed memorycard since it was installed, so the stick has been formated. I just got the LBA1 PSX bin file from the Megaupload link I posted, and then converted it with the PSX2PSP v.1.2 into a EBOOT.PBP file that I put in the /PSP/GAME directory on my PSP. Then when I browse to the Memory stick icon under Game on the PSP menu, the LBA game appears. Like in the video.

About the PSX2PSP app, you'll need the EBOOT.PBP file from Hot Shots Golf 2 to use the program. The file must be renamed to BASE.PBP and put in the "Files" directory of the app, if not, the program won't convert the LBA bin file into a readable file for the PSP.

How illigal would it be for me to upload the final file?
I could, but also don't want problems

Edit:
Also, about the speed of it all, I know there's been fixes in newer firmwares, so I guess it might run faster if I upgrade to 3.71 M33.
But I also think the Slim PSP has more internal memory, couse alot of people complained about that when browsing the net with the FAT one, alot of pages wouldnt finnish loading couse they ran out of memory.

I never used the Poploader.

I'll upload the file, so you can try.

I guess I'm forced to say "you must own the game to download it legally"

It will take a while to upload. It'll be up in a day or two.

Zip Part1:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/33sdqv

Zip Part2:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/uk26ml

unzip the rar files into a folder and then unrar the rar files into your PSP/Games folder

Ok, tomorrow morning I get your files, but it isn't a matter of eboot conversion but a matter of firmware pops version.

You won't be able to run it self the game with the version 3.71m33, I already try in a slim and also in a fat and not success. I need to get popsloader working to choose your version pops.

I can't, I have the slim. But still, I'll get popsloader to work and emulate the same pops as you have in version 3.52.

Ok, I get the game working. Its not a matter of eboot convertion but instead pops version. It seams only some pops version actually load the game properly. For now I only test with posp version 3.52, but I'll test with all others and probably make a tutorial how to get LBA working on PSP.

Still, the game is very slow with this pop version. I'll to find the best one.

Edit: Seams to find a good one, fast and for now it seams to work great. Pop version 3.72 (not included with 3.71 m33 cfw)

ok, nice to have that problem figured out. LBA is very playable even though the 3.52 poploader is a little slow sometimes, but in the temple of Bù I ran into a problem that might be becouse of the slowdown. In the room where you do the Jump-towards-lever-and-pull-the-lever-in-the-air-thing, there's so much going on (jumping, music, sfx) that it doesn't react when I push the action button on the lever. It worked on the first of the two levers, so it should work on the second one too.

Is it possible to download and use the 3.72 poploader without the sony 3.72 firmware?

yes, but you will need popsloader for your firmware version. I can send you all the pops decrypted since you need to extract all the files needed from the 3.72 original firmware. That way, you won't have any trouble, only copy. Btw, I'm using the last popsloader version for 3.71m33-3.

I'll record a movie this night and test all pops to see which one is the best.

This are the pops for version 3.71m33-3, but probably it also works with your popsloader version since the files are the same.

Get this pack and put it under root:seplugins/popsloader folder (it have all pops versions)

You can find a lot of info about popsloader around the web, but if you had any trouble let me know.

I'll test the game now with all the pops.

Edit:

Here's a list of all pops version compatibility:
3.00 - slow, sprite/images problems, sound problems (no voices, no sfx), bad resolution
3.01 - same as 3.00
3.02 - same as 3.00
3.03 - same as 3.00
3.10 - only problems refreshing the scenario grids, all the rest seams ok.
3.11 - same as 3.10
3.30 - a bit slow and problems recentering the character, but the play plays well, except some times the scenario grids aren't well refreshed.
3.40 - not tested
3.51 - very slow (in loading times), problems refreshing the scenario grids.
3.52 - same as above.
3.71 - fast loading times with normal game speed, but no scenario grids.
3.72 - recommended version. fast loading times and normal game speed. No issues found by now.

Edit2: I got problems with 3.72. Sometimes refreshing the scenario (very rare), and problems loading some scenes. The game hangs. I'll test more and also with pops 3.52.

In 3.52 the game also freezes sometimes when using the Home menu or trying to acces either game menu or Home menu while something's loading.

Happens rarely though.

-Background music drops out as soon as a voice act is played.
