2013 - What's in store for you?

More personal than the 2013 Predictions thread, this is the place to post what your plans, resolutions, changes, etc. for the New Year that you care to share.

For me, I've decided to make 2013 a year of action. Sort of settling old businesses, burying old hatchets and whatnot. In one particular case, I made it a point to get some closure on an issue that's been 10+ years in the making. So very much about letting go of the past and meeting new people, traveling to new places, and closing a chapter of my life (mostly defined by being in university, haha). With regards to travel, I've been thinking about doing some sort of cross-country roadtrip over the summer.

Thanks! I haven't set the itinerary yet, but it's something I've wanted to do for a long time. This summer will be the first time in awhile that I'll have a bit of free time (or that's the plan, anyways) to manage something like this.

My plan is to mostly finish things:

* Finnish my online adventure game engine, and release something on it (even if its just a small demo/sample)

* Finnish the online version of the fanfic maker program, which is 90% done but I never got the motivation for the last 10%.

* Finnish the sillyfilm script I started writting.

* Make my online review show a lot slicker and more regular. (rather then longer epps like last year).

* Do something, anything, with my panelstreamer code.

* Make working prototype for my XMPP based open AR platform both on Android and web.(almost done, but need my host to support Perl)


So, mostly coding for me. Bit of writting and editing.

Hehehee, didn't know your coding "facet" and I'm on the same boat.

- Finished Snails game (its at final stage, building levels and fixing bugs);
- Start a new engine for the upcoming games;
- Get PS3 Last of Us
- Save some money to buy a Mini Mac to make my own server (also media center)
- Also save some money to go to London again (around April)
- Last and not the least improved the Prequel engine.

Why would you continue on that engine, is 't the project dead?

LBA Prequel project is dead indeed. The engine isn't.
The main goal for the engine is actually recreate the LBA engine like LbaWin did, but for multiples platforms.

I'm still thinking but I will probably merge Twin-e with Prequengine and stick with only one engine name, probably Twin-e. Still considering.

I really hope Mr. Vachey succeeds with his plans.
It's amazing how our worlds greatest talents (imho) have become unable to do what they're best at: Fred never released a game like LBA ever again, and Vachey didn't make any music of equivalent substance as LBA's soundtrack ever again.

It is a very sad, dark world we live in.
But I hope 2013 will bring us a new light!

I have no particular plan for 2013...

There is a jazz/improvisation/world music summer camp at the end of June, and one of my friends from France will come espescially for it !
I must fininsh all my exams before it begins !


A concert of M. Vachey ? That sounds like the best occasion to have a meeting !!!
